Very serene place to be at. Peaceful. Food is not that good. But then again, I went for a peaceful experience and I got that. I wish we had more days to stay there. Staff was friendly. I would definitely want to go again. I have referred my friends this place to stay.

The hotel from the outside looks good. But it's completely hollow from the inside. The restaurant at the hotel as absolutely no food. The menu is so so so limited. They took one hour to give us the most basic food. No backwater facility. Please do not come here.

Been there only for lunch but the place caught my attention. Located at the edge of back waters, this resort is ideally located with a beautiful view. It is a KTDC (Kerala Govt) undertaking. Full of trees, birds and shrubs,this place has a swing and a hammock that faces the back waters.
A new bridge is being built which again can be seen from this resort.
Service at the restaurant is slow and laid back. The fish fry however was sumptuous. Rates are reasonable as well.

The resort is a collection of cottage like buildings each having four are give rooms,each having it's own without offering a breathtaking view of the vembanad lake. The 8 acre area over which the resort is spread is full of greenery
The supplies in the rooms are basic, this being a budget hotel. The restaurant is spacious and served reasonable food, but the rates are a bit high. Service is good. The reception is courteous and fast.

Room No 301, 302
Pros:
1. Excellent View from Rooms
2. Spacious and good rooms
3. Nice ambiance and beautiful adjacent area
4. Highly secured
Cons:
1. Food options are very much limited and a little bit costly
2. House keeping service not up to the mark, the phone to them keeps ringing and you are lucky if someone receives your call.
3. We had to fill our own water bottles from the dining hall after attempting several times to call the house keeping staffs.
4. At Room Number 302 , remote of A.C was missing, though we reported repeatedly no body cared about our inconvenience. So despite of paying for A.C room , we were unable to switch on A.C
