Stayed there for 2N/3D,booked this resort since we dint had other options available due to peak season but in the end we regretted our decision,the property needs serious improvements in terms of room service.Even the maintenance is also very poor.Seriously not recommended for families.

Worst hotel ever!!

This has by far been the worst hotel I have ever visited. Horrible service, extra dirty rooms, broken walls, stinky toilets. I will not advice anybody to go to this place. They also didn't return the money back that they promised us!!.. so don't rely on them at all!!

Poorly maintained resort at a good location

We stayed at this resort for only 1 day even though we booked for 3 days due to its very poor maintenance during Dec'12. Since we are from Mumbai, it was easier to cancel and come back. The non a/c cottages have some semblance of maintenance, whereas the others have not been maintained at all. The fellow Sumit Gunjani speaks on phone nicely but don't get duped. The location is very good but looks like it has has limited patronage for a long time. Please do not get fooled and go there with plans for stay for more than 1 day

A Request to ppl lookin for affordable and decent resorts in mahableshwar not to ever choose Strawberry country resort. . the website fools us with good piks of rooms and swimming pool . . .reality is something else only. . .the place firstly doesnt have a porper reception nor any good infrastructure . .Instead its as good as a haunted bunglow. . the rooms are terrible with windows broken , improper flooreing and the poorest of services ever. . the swimming pool is especially made for ppl to suffer from skin allergies. . the water is full of fungus . .ugly rooms , worst service ever. . .caution for family oriented ppl---never ever take a risk of choosing strawberry country resort as it is very un safe for anyone especially women. . .had worst of my life experiences hence a wise advise rest its your choice. . thank you. . .

The room was unclean and grimy. I had booked a non-AC room. The room had a fan but i couldn't open the windows because there was a huge plastic cover to shield out the sun. The windows were dusty with spots on it.
The dining table was grimy and the oil stains were not cleaned up properly. There was lizard crap also lying on the dining table. The drinking glasses were kept upside down directly on the table, instead of placing them on a saucer.
The bed had an unclean blanket.
The room was recently shabbily re-painted. The paint had spilled over all the electrical fixtures.
There wasn't any view outside the room to look out to.
The bathing bucket and mug had a soapy feel to it. When i asked the room-service to clean it up, they said that the maid will come the next day at 10am and do it.
The western-commode didn't have a spray-type water faucet, neither did it have toilet paper, only a mug and bucket.

The saving grace was food, for the cost, it was good. Although to order it, we had a grimy menu in the room and the food was supposed to be ordered at wierd timings: Breakfast until 9am, lunch until 2pm, dinner until 8pm. Delivery time is not 20 minutes as the menu promises it.

Don't even try to look at the jaccuzi, the swimming pool is viewable, but not swimmable.

There is a good view of the valley at the end of the resort.

We booked the room for 2 nights, but after looking at the condition of the room, we checked out after one night.
