I went in the peak long weekend seasons when the town was flooded with all sorts of crowd & visitors. The Stay with the hotel was pre-booked and the deal i got as per the ongoing season was fair good.
The hotel is an old property converted into hotel and within the available space it has been squeezed to good space utilization. The room on my floor looked all of same size and were not that spacious. But nothing to complain as that part of hills there is limitation of space in general. The room was nicely done up though and though washroom was bit not upto mark in terms of fit-&-finish. Now the noise from outside could filter in room, as there is a lane next to the boundary, which in itself was close to the room where i stayed.
The Check-In & Check -out was smooth and fast.
Mr. Zafar, the Manager of the property was well versed with hospitality quotient, and did handled most of the visitors with nice personal touch.
The breakfast was not exhaustive but fair enough.
Rest i can say, there is scope of improvements in terms of service standards, though the soft communication part was good but the commitment to delivery didn't looked to same level in general by most of the staffs otherwise.
I forgot my new shirt in wardrobe at checkout, but not to be found within 2 hours when i called them to check on it. I don't want to generalize this to overall experience because i don't know and where it went & who would be wearing it now. :-))
I can think of staying with them again otherwise and would recommend as well.

We stayed in swiss cottage very nice & food was also good. This cottages are based at mallital near Court.
Beautiful scenic view from room & walking distance to mall road for 10mins. Staff is very nice , very cooperative & helpful.
I stayed here for 2 days it was awesome stay. Surely if i will plan again to stay in nanital i am gona plan for swiss cottage.

This property is conveniently located, with fairly easy access to the flats and the Mall Road. The staff is helpful and try to do their best. The rooms though large lack in ventilation and sunlight. On a grey day they tend to get very cold. The seating area outside is quite limited. The breakfast is quite ok and meals need to be ordered in advance. WiFi is erratic....

We had a nice stay in Swiss cottage from 30th Sept to 3rd Oct 2017 in Nanital. The room we booked was heritage cottage. The room was ok with attached sitting arrangement.
The supporting staffs were very helpful and friendly. They lit bon fire in the night with music arrangement. Room service is slightly expensive. The complimentary breakfast was well prepared.
Overall good place to be with family. Special thanks to Aayush for being considerate to our requirements.

Swiss Cottage is located near Raj Bhawan in Nainital. It is approx 1 km away from the Mall Road. This is a budget boutique resort. I totally loved the location of this resort. Though it doesnât have a lake view from has mountain view. In fact, youâll be staying amidst mountains when staying here. I found it really peaceful and serene, perfect to escape the chaos.
