Amazing staff!!!! Great location!

We spent one night and from before we arrived to the moment we departed, the entire staff went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. I contacted the concierge requesting assistance with dinner plans for shortly after we arrived, and they also assisted with successfully locating an item lost on the bullet train from Tokyo, and arranged departure transportation, and even escorted one member of our party to the train station (which is directly under the hotel) and assisted with the luggage all the way to the train (after getting special permission to go beyond the ticket gate to do so).

Good location but disappointed with service provided from counter where dealt for Ta Q Bin service

Majority staff are very helpful and pleasant, however we were disappointed with service provided over the counter where dealing with Ta Q Bin service.
We left our luggages to them on the hotel ground floor where they deal with Ta Q Bin service on the day we checking out. unfortunately it turns out that our luggages got lost for about three days before found again at middle of our trip, during the stressful period, we tried contact both hotel and the Ta Q Bin company, one male staff who worked at the counter for Ta Q Bin service was rude and arrogant, we was told that do not call them as our lost luggage nothing to do with the hotel, and it was not their job to look after us once we checked out already. The male staff even gave phone away to other staff at middle of the conversation without any explanation, left us speechless and very upset.
Location is great, lots of shops and restaurants around, easy get around by train.

You want to enjoy Osaka? Stay at Swissotel Nankai! Every year on our birthdays, my sisters and I choose to go to Osaka and stay at Swissotel Nankai. The favorite shopping area of my 80 years old sister in Takashimaya. She would easily walk to the fifth floor of the department store from our hotel.The train station of Namba is an easy access from and to the airport. We are happy that you now have elevator going directly to the lobby of the hotel. We love to ear at the restaurants near the hotel. Cross the street and you will be at Dontonburi and Shinsaibashi.

Amazing experience during my stay. Staff in Tavalo36 are very helpful and considerate. Porter service is perfect! Unluckily that I forgot her name, she is very helpful and sociable, helping us to take the luggage not only to the station but also onto the Nankai train! This is very important for a patient like me.

Great location. Decent room, slightly underwhelmed for the prices paid.

First off, fantastic location right on top of a train station with easy walking distance to the main city attractions. Dotombori, Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market, etc... Rooms were pretty good sized for a big City in Japan though it does look somewhat dated (and a little dusty as my nose started to act up). It would have had another star had the prices been more reasonable. We paid full rate and were promised a complimentary late check out.

On checking in, no mention of the late check out was made and when we enquired on our last day, we were only allowed an hours extension and anything after required payment. Rather inflexible (and not the most cheerful) front desk staff when checking in.

Housekeeping though were excellent both in service and attitude.

Book ONLY if you can get a discounted rate. Not worth the full fare.
