Please Note - In our continuous endeavor to offer your organization the best product, service and value through the years, we are undertaking refurbishment at Vivanta by Taj Fort Aguada, Goa between 23rd February to 10th June 2015. In addition to some of the rooms located in the main block,the terrace of Latitude and the terrace of Il Camino restaurants, will also undergo structural refurbishment. Hence the poolside will be closed during the period of 24th February to 02nd March, and again from 20th to 27th April 2015. During this period, the pool facilities at our sister hotel, Vivanta by Taj Holiday Village, Goa will be available for all our guests. All other facilities and services remain fully operational during this period. Please be assured that the hotel has taken all necessary measures to minimize the inconvenience caused to our guests

Superbly located (North Goa, meandering into the ramparts of the Portuguese coastal fort), the property lures you with wonderful views, nicely laid-out & spacious cottages, and warm service. An aspect the hotel can work on is segregation of the pool / leisure areas & business conference areas.

A Pre Birthday Retreat to Taj Fort Aguada was just living the dream.The rooms are clean and spacious.The breakfast spread is very good.The facilities including the pool with the view of the fort and the sea is amazing.Watching the stars and the palm trees on Hammocks is the idle way to relax and spend a beautiful evening after dinner and drinks.

The resort is superbly located at the end of Candolim beach-southern end.
Received at reception and quickly processed and after a 30 hour trip we were in our room after no more than 10 minutes.
Now this is where the Taj lost a star.
For a £300 a night room I would expect a room where I would not hear next doors guests chatting to each other where I could hear the exact conversation.
I don't want to have to listen to someone else's tv.
I don't want to be woken by the next door opening their curtains.
The inter room insulation is very poor and needs addressing.
The bed was so very very comfortable.
It was so good I wanted to buy one so I checked the label to see who manufactured it.
To my dismay the mattress was soiled and suffering from many stains.
There should be placed upon the mattress a protective cover which I use on my home mattress.
It is branded Eva Dry.
It protects the mattress throughout its life.
Not expensive but gives the guest a feel good feeling.
The shower room needed attention with basic touch ups where required woodwork for example scratched and unsightly.
However overall a very very comfortable room well looked after by housekeeping.
The staff are superb and made every effort to look after us .5 star each and everyone of them.
Sanjeev and the pool team were exceptionally attentive and deserve special praise.
Pool area superb and proximity to the beach excellent.
Hotel food excellent and well presented from breakfast to snacks during the day to evening meals.
Overall a great holiday -just wish I could have given 5 stars.
Maybe next time.

In a lovely location overlooking the sea and beach with very friendly staff. However, it was a shame about the endless presence of crows flying over the pool and gardens with their shrill calls. We had issues with the first room we were allocated but were then given an upgrade to a fabulas room high in the resort with brilliant views up the beach across the sea. The gardens are exceptional and the service second to none.

From the airport pickup on it was a pleasant experience.our check-in was smooth.Even though we were at the hotel by 9.30 am, we were given a room immediately.The room was on the ground floor and had a nice sit-out.The buffet breakfast spread at the Kokum restaurant was huge &as vegetarians ,we had a good selection of dishes suited to our palate.The sunset point is worth a dekko.All in all a beautiful stay made more enjoyable due to the excellent service.
