We stayed here for a night.
The major positive of the hotel is it's location, easily accessible, but this is a bit far from airport.
The room we got was in ground floor and clean, but the room size is very small. So, ok for couples or solo. Service was good nothing to complain about

Very bad turnout this year. Shown a dirty passage & only after regret was allotted a better room.Food too was not good on the first day. Very expensive. Any small extras are charged very high. We even booked at least one month in advance. Just have a look at the restaurant - All old sofas . The Staff at the restaurant could be more courteous. Please counsel them. Have left a written note - Waiting for the Management to respond

our stay at taj was good. we got a room upgrade while checking in. breakfast spread is very good. room was good too but can do with an uplift. however overall it was pleasure staying here. location is excellent.

I have been a regular visitor to Taj Mahal hotel Abids road , ever since I was a kid.
The taste of the food is just amazing and pure South Indian vegetarian .
People working as stewards are the same one and continued working with Taj for ages . Itâs truly a delight .

Hotel reception need training. ..checked us in but continously asked us for an indian number for free wifi. You are a foreigner..hotel staff photocopy passports so this is a no brainer...how do you expect then for the guest to have an Indian mobile number. After much explaining we got free wifi. Room was being renovated so wires hanging out...bathroom was all in one so everything gets wet...disgusting. paint peeling and toiletries requested...toilet paper missing. ..towels thin...staff expect to be tipped yet the service is extremely bad. Hairdryer not available yet this is advertised and noted....very disappointing. This hotel was noted in my lonely Planet guide and as a senior reviewer I will advise the lonely Planet team on this. I'm not sure what rooms are portrayed but ours one was definitely not it. Food at breakfast is veg just so you know. Location is good...hyderabad is a 2 day city otherwise.
