Location : 15 minutes from airport
Staff: this makes all the difference - genuine smiles and keen to please without being subservient.
Handled very well all our preliminary email enquiries regarding vehicle arrangements for visiting Ajanta and Ellora caves. Vehicle was excellent and driver knowledgeable, professional, safe and accommodating with our few additional requests.
Lovely outdoor dinner entertainment - traditional Maharashtrian dances, Lavani.
There was an unexpected problem at checkout, staff would not accept one of the notes due to a slight blemish though the same note was accepted elsewhere. Puzzling for an overseas visito.

Vivanta by Taj Aurangabad is a beautiful, safe and charming hotel with world-class standard. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of choice with good products. I strongly recommend the Chinese restaurant of the hotel if you want a delicate and flavoursome meal. Special mention to the GM of the Rajesh whose care and warm welcome makes you feel at home.

We stayed at the Taj Vivanta for 3 nights while visiting Ajanta and Ellora caves. We received a warm welcome from the staff, who are extremely friendly and attentive. Our room opened onto the central garden area. Comfortable bed, good air con, good bathroom. Quiet during the night. The room would benefit from some updating and decoration, but was quite comfortable overall.
The food and service in the restaurant is very good. We enjoyed the Indian and continental offerings. Nice breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant. We were very pleased with Sachin' s service at the restaurant, but everyone was very nice and friendly.
Lovely well-kept grounds and a beautiful pool.
We would certainly stay at this hotel again, and would recommend the Taj Vivanta to our friends.

Lovely hotel but service is slow with poor understanding of English which leads to delays. Rooms need renovation desperately but it is clean and cosy. Food could be better. Pool is clean and attendant is lovely. Helpful staff but dealing with foreigners who have a higher expectation at the price paid is not there

being a taj loyalist i have visited several of their properties. this one rates right at the top of the list. Great Location and a beautiful garden. excellent service as always. dinner was fabulous. and served with lots of attention
