A two night stay here to go to visit the tea plantations and national park. A stunning part. Hotel is quite basic but comfortable. No alcohol sold so take your own. Hotelâs set on a very steep incline so you need to be fit to cope with all the steps especially as the restaurant is at the top! Service was fairly sporadic but the buffet style food was okay.

I drove through these forests on my motorbike first when it was foggy (was driving through the clouds) and second in the early morning hours. The beauty and silence of this area was just stunning, almost surreal. It's jungle ... One needs time to dive in ...

This was my favourite hotel on our tour of Kerala.
Wonderful location great restaurant and excellent staff and service.
Very good.
Be prepared for a climb up to the restaurant ( they have transport)

Lovely drive up the mountains and we arrive at Tall Trees.
The location was lovely and the staff helpful. Food was buffet but really nice.
The room I stayed in was damp and very tired looking. Our clothes smelt damp when we left. I believe some rooms are better and this was one of the cheaper rooms but I was disappointed. The grounds are lovely and the walks in the surrounding area are stunning but you do need to be fairly fit to wander around here.

Room set within a cottage, this is a beautiful and unique property that is surrounded by verdant forest and tall trees. Warm and professional service by the staff of Tall Trees. Buffet dinner and breakfast were memorable and scrumptious. Complimentary activities such as tea tasting and nature walk and hike made our stay in Munnar especially this enclave of tea plantation so magical and memorable. Looking forward to coming back one day!
