The stay though was pleasant, I felt this has not been properly maintained hotel. We stayed a night and the best part that we have felt was the balcony which was attached to the room and the place where the hotel is located. Calm and Quite. The food was good but was overpriced. The staffs were trying to support to the maximum where they have certain limits.

We stayed 2 days ie Dec 13 to 15 with my family (Include 2 kids). Room is big and Two AC's fitted. Front office staff's are good. But the problem is the geyser. it was not working and we informed to the staff. But no response. V Difficult to take bath for Kids.
Also there is no Breakfast included in the room charge. We need to pay extra amount but amount is reasonable. Location also good. For billing no card swipe is there . need to pay cash only.

A very decent budget hotel as usual from KTDC tamarind brand. Located at walkable distance 3 kms from both Peermed and kuttikanam amidst trees. Awesome location. Good Food and decent basic accommodation. You can walk amidst green and excellent view of the hill on the roadside. Situated in teh NH183 Kottayam kumily road, really a ideal centre point to cover Parunthumpara, Idukki dam, Thekkady, Gavi etc.

The front staff was friendly and helpful. The indoor restaurant food was good but not well managed. Easier to take public transport such as autos, train and bus. The hotel is located nearer to few Kerala Tourist Office and also some other must-see famous locations.

Good option for budget hotel when travelling to thekkady or vagamon. Big rooms. Food was good and priced accordingly (not budget option). Not advisable to go out in night. Very near to the main road connecting Vagamon and Thekkady.
