I've stayed here several times for business trips and its always spot on. Rooms are clean, reception are good, the food is actually pretty good too.
Breakfast is served from 7.30am and its very good. They have a full buffet with chef offering cooked food including fried eggs etc. Lunch & Dinner options are pretty good too.
The pools and bathing are all very good although the gym is rubbish. Hence why the review is only very good and not excellent! Dont come to this hotel expecting to be able to use the gym...its just a small room with a couple of cycling machines (that dont work properly).

We came to this hotel 3 years ago for a promotion fiesta, still loving this hotel and spa...I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, I was operated and had reconstruction made, the spa did wonderssssssss for my healing because of the salt water, we spent 5 glorious days soaking in this spa morning and evening! Thank you once again
Thallasia hotel and spa for a wonderful bedroom overlooking the salt flats with a pan outside Terrance and for the wonderful time we had the spa... breakfast was appeasing but I sure did miss the restaurant (La Sal), buffet wasn't exactly that great this time...
ps : Tallasia the coffee was the worst I have ever drank, pleaseeeeee change this, it makes a difference for the hotels breakfast buffet and recomendations

We stayed here for 4 days at the end of September and it felt like we were completely out of season! None of the hotel bars were open and the only way to get a drink was to walk to the restaurant (which was a fair distance from the pool area), try and flag down a willing member of staff, which proved difficult, and order drinks there - we would then have to wait in excess of 20 minutes for the drinks to appear! We took our drinks to enjoy by the pool on the first day and the glasses were still there on day 4. There was a constant and terrible smell of drains around the pool area, which got worse as the day went on and the weather got warmer. With the exception of one or two, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful and we were not made to feel welcome at all. Location wise - the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and is situated next to a main road which could be very noisy. It is 10 minutes away from the nearest town, San Pedro. We asked the taxi driver to take us to a nice restaurant in San Pedro - his response was "there are no nice restaurants in San Pedro", we thought he was joking - he wasn't!
The only nice thing we can say is the room itself was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely big bed!

I stayed in this hotel with my daughter and two of my friends for a Spa day. We found the hotel to be awesome. Everything was excellent - staff, food, room facilities, Wellness Centre plus car-parking.

the breakfast buffet was a nightmare, with people pushing and shoving. There were hardly any staff in the dining room, just two people laying up. on two occasions there were no tables free and we had to clear and lay up. the hotel did not cater for vegetarians at all. Lunch was a large buffet or snacks, nothing in between so you had to go out. The rooms were beautiful, decorated to a high standard, but for two people you had two small towels! The adjacent spa was an added bonus, spacious and never too full.
