Have stayed in this hotel for past twenty years although not 5 star any more it still tops any hotel in benalmadena. Friendly and helpful staff rooms more than adequate hotel spotlessly clean and gardens beautifully maintained never use casino but looks fantastic looking forward to visiting again soon

Arrived 25 oct.Like an entrance to a multi storey car park not very appealing but get inside and you will be blown away it is stunning.The place is like a maize and you will get lost for the first 3 or 4 days we were here for 4 days the hotel was closing on our day of departure.The rooms are very good and clean we had a stunning sea view we were in room 415 fourth floor.There are many concert rooms when we were there the hotel had flamenco and ballet which was priced at 29 euros but you got a free drink wow we were all inclusive so we didnt visit these.There is a casino but you have to give your passport or driving license to get in.Entertainment besides the flamenco and ballet was very low key and inside below the casino.Because it was very near the end of season coul be the reason the food was poor quality and not the warmest although there was a microwave.Service for drinks in the restaurant is waitress and is very hit and miss one night we were the only people in there betwween 7 and 8 pm. and still struggled to get their attention for a drink if you want tea or coffee good luck with that you have to get the attention of one of the waiters at drinks counter to get served.The hotel is the last hotel before the next resort so you are well out of it its a decent trek to the marina which is stunning but the promenade near marina was full of lucky lucky men.Due to the hotel being quiet sunloungers were plentyful but during peak season you may struggle because pool area isnt that big.Pool bar was ok but snacks looked terrible.The gym is terrible you should not advertise a gym unless you have some decent equipment.Didnt try indoor pool but it was popular due to outdoor pool being quite cold but it was nearly november but weather was very good.If you want to head out of complex towards marina you will have to use a gate near pool bar quite a long way round its better to go to reception and go via promenade.There is a language barrier here with all the staff not knowing much English.The beach area going towards the marina is quite shabby and run down.The animation team were brilliant especially on halloween night going to restaurant for evening meal they were dressed as ghosts killers etc and scared everyone it was hilarious.Would i come here again definetely not.I would go to the other side of marina towards Torremelinos much cleaner more upmarket than this area.

We stayed here for 10 days in October '17. The staff were mostly friendly and attentive.
We were there during a Carter on the Costa break and the Hotel was really busy.
The service in most of the bars was poorly organised with long disorderly queues. There were not enough staff for the amount of people using the bars.The Bar Staff tried their best but they were fighting a losing battle.
The drinks were expensive and at all bars were served in flimsy plastic disposable glasses that split too easily.
Food in the buffet style restaurant was good quality fresh and plentiful with good variety and choice.
Our room was fresh and kept very clean. It faced away from Benalmadena and we got the sun on our balcony late afternoon. Although we were close to the road double balcony doors kept the traffic noise out at night. We asked the maid for extra pillows and she brought them within 10 minutes.
There is a supermarket about 500mtrs from the hotel if you need it.
We enjoyed our stay and although the hotel is far from the centre of Benalmedena there is a nice beach nearby. I would recommend the hotel for a stay but if I was going back to this region I would stay closer to the main area.

We stayed from the 18-24th October, we arrived late and had emailed ahead to see if any food would be available, on arrival we were presented with a picnic, sandwich Spanish salad yogurt and fruit, all lovey and substantial and very welcome after a long day, wrist bands were put on and we were directed in to the bar to get some drinks, i had requested rooms close together and again my request was met. 3 rooms all next to each other. Reception was very welcoming and couldn't fault a thing. We had standard rooms all immaculately clean, really comfy bed, rooms made up daily with fresh towels whenever needed.
I had slight concerns regarding the food and service following reviews on here but I needed not worry, food fantastic yes probably could get a bit samey if you have a bit of everything every single day but you would also come home 10 stone heavier! Always at least 5 or 6 different main choices including Paella, stews, freshly cooked fish and meat at the grill stations and lots of local specialties, there wasn't a day that we had any issues with the food, Granddad was especially taken with the rainbows of Jelly and ice cream! we asked if we could have some visitors join us for dinner and it was no problem just had to Pay 18 euros per person, we did this three times and all was fantastic every one. Pool bar food a little basic for all inclusive and if you wanted toppings on pizza then you had to pay extra but well worth it Gemma in the Pool Bar was excellent and a real asset to the hotel. Bar inside also great a little slow to serve sometimes as got a bit busy. Entertainment team do a wonderful job and have so much energy. Overall a fantastic stay and we hope to be back net year.

The first thing that you need to know is that you have to pay at the beginning of your stay-the first impression(via booking).
I recomend you to ask for rooms at upper floors because they have some shows at the ground floor-quite after midnight :))
I stood at the 9th floor,room 922-I think that this floor is the best for the views-as you'll see in the pictures,not even one noise in here!
Staff very polite and helpfull,they don't speak a very good English but they will try to guide you as much as they can.
Breakfast full of varieties,cold and warm,fruits and pastry.As I see other comments... come on guys...you'll not gonna receive beaf tartare or eggs benedict with red napkin...Decent food for a decent hotel!
From the train station Arroyo de la Miel,I took a taxi to the hotel-7.50â¬(the taxi is quite cheap).
From the airport Malaga-to Benalmadena-train(train stations is in front of the airport):2.20â¬(20 min,a few stations).
Go and eat in Harbour Marina,especially at the restaurants on the beaches,(they close serving food at 5pm)-fresh fishy dishes!yaaammmyyyy
WiFi very bad in the room but you're not there to stay on your phone/tablet/whatever/you're there to relax!(signal in reception or lobby).
A pretty outdoor pool,beautiful garden..:)
And!You must see the Flamenco show,AMAZING!Vicente Renero-35â¬/adult(including a drink).I repet,AMAZING!
