Finding The Beachwood was easy. It sits on the main road between Ayr and Prestwick so transport to both is easy. David met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Our room was at the top of the house and had an amazing view of Arran. We had a two night stay and found the nightlife of Prestwick excellent. Breakfast at The Beachwood was really well cooked and plenty of choice. If visiting this area in the future we wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

The room was perfect, we were four but we were confortable. When we wake up, early in the morning we were cold because the heater was turned off during the night. Overall we had a great experience there.

Had a lovely stay at the Beechwood. Room was spotless and very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and could not do enough for you. Great choice of breakfast. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

This guest house is a little gem! The property along with the rooms are stunning and is absolutely immaculate throughout. A warm and friendly welcome always awaits from owners David and Shona. The breakfast is simply delicious with a great choice on the menu and beautifully cooked and presented in the charming little front room. Would have no hesitation in highly recommending this guest house and would rate it 5 stars. Is now and will remain our first choice B & B when visiting Ayr.

Couldn't fault this place. Spotlessly clean, breakfast obviously made to order, fantastic choice, from pancakes, kippers, salmon and full Scottish! Comfortable bed. The hosts were so helpful, but not over the top.
