Mew went to Clare because my pass port was out of date and France was not an option
We are own a restaurant and weâre looking forward to our trip
The landlady made us feel so welcome the bar manager made we feel so welcome
We were told that breakfast was 7 till9 but if we were late it did not mater
My partner arrived at 0845 asked for breakfast and god a lot of lip from a chef well I guess he was not a chef as I am and my customers come first
He told us we were late at this stage I desired to not eat as the chef was so rude
I will say my friends were told they would be lucky to g t a bacon sandwich as they arrived at 0910
The owners and the staff were late very it was a lovely birthday treat
The chef was a nasty man but we my come back as lovely by as he is gone

me and my girlfriend stayed in room 19 omg :) a huge stunning four poster bed massive room lovely en suite
food was really good would recommend the fish and chips yum yum my girlfriend had the pan fried duck scrummy
looking forward to returning

Extremely helpful staff very pleasant owner we stayed for two nights in room 1 was huge for the price!! breakfast was ok...food was extremely good me and my wife had the lasagna and liver and bacon on mash with two chocolate pots for desserts I would recommend those little chocolate pots to everyone!!! Bar was great friendly staff good selection of beers spirits and Gins all in all cracking time was made to feel extremely welcome the staff couldn't do enough for us even though they were extremely busy

Had a good stay overall.stayed room 3 .compact but all we needed.tv not working and sink not draining properley-told Danny barman.He could not do a lot as on his own but was very helpfully and got it sorted next day.Breakfast day 2 not ideal no heating no yoghurt no teaspoons and no staff anywhere !!one man cooking breakfast and doing as well as he could.he did address all issues above but would say a lovely place which could be fantastic.good luck to what I think are new owners.

Had a nice lunch . Would advise to book and have a early lunch as sold out of a couple of things . We ate in the nice back room . Nice staff . Few drinks in the front bar first . All in all nice afternoon nice pub in the village . Wife had a veggie dish . Wine list is ok as well not to expensive
