The Place exceeded the expectations...Never Thought it would've got such well appointed/furnished rooms. The place is soo close to the sanctuary that one would have to travel only 2-3 mins in a cycle rickshaw.Note the Mobile Number of the rickshaw wala [9950228496-Lalaram] who knows all the spots and takes you to spot almost all the birds there. Knowledged Person. Speaks English Too.[ But Fix a Deal co'z he is Money minded]

We had been to Bharatpur few times earlier also but it was Always a day up down trip from
Agra.
Having recently developed a keen interest in Birds we decided to stay two nights three days in Bharatpur during the Republic Day weekend in order to comfortably explore Bharatpur .
After a bit of online research we decided on The Birders inn becuase all the positive reviews and location and we were not Disappointed.
After a foggy drive from delhi through YEW we reached at around 1pm
We were quickly checked in by the very helpful and unassuming reception manager Shashank and he kindly upgraded us to suites
The place was better than what photos showed
A quaint, clean, green and beautiful place with well equipped rooms ,gardens where daily bonfire is organised and comfortable sit outs in front of each room to relax.
The restaurant is adequate without being outstanding but no one comes here for satisfying culinary cravings
The food (buffet on all days we were there) was mainly Indian but not too spicy
They kindly arranged chicken sandwiches for our children which were nice.
The inn has its own cycles and one can(as we did) hire them at very economical rates of one wants
Otherwise there are cyclerickshaws right in front of the place to take one to the sanctuary which is right next door
Because of its wonderful location we managed to go to the sanctuary on all three days we were there including the morning of our check out
We were lucky to see andcapture birds like -pied kingfisher in flight,Egyptian vulture, white cheeked bulbul and were lucky to see a darters fight
Overall a very satisfying experience Nd a place I would Definitely recommend and special mention of Mr Shashank and Mr Rachit who were extremely friendly and helpful
Just a small suggestion for the management to improve their overall restaurant services

Me and my husband booked the hotel for one night and we got a package deal for 4800 including breakfast and dinner . So we were quite happy to get a good deal . So for the buffet was for 500 + tax each time that was already included in the payment that was taken on-arrival . There was not a single thing to eat neither in breakfast nor dinner . Like , it was totally not worth even a single penny .
Generally , in such packages , evening snacks are generally included , however we were charged 420/- for snacks that were dooped in oil and coffees that we ended up not having , co they were terrible . And even after giving this feedback to the reception , he still charged for the snacks and was unapologetic for the bad experience we had .
"Bonfire" was highlighted as one of the main attractions of the hotel with a puppet show . They only put some wood in fire , there was neither any puppet show , nor dance or music , nothing . So , nothing really for the traveller's entertainment which is a normal norm for other places in rajasthan .
I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone .
Amazing food

My wife and I are just back from touring India on a Royal Enfield Motorcycle (highly recommended). We found this hotel and restuarant in as there are not many in Bhasmasur.
For hotel food it is superb. As good if not better than a lot of dedicated restuarants and great service too. The hotel, although we didnât stay here, is lovely. Rooms are behind the front across a court yard so traffic noise isnât an issue.
If we ever return here we will stay here for sure.
Alcohol served.
Bharatpur's Bird Sanctuary is well worth a visit. Lovely tranquil place.
Everything you can seek to fulfil your birding eperience!

I stayed at the Birder's Inn from 14th Jan to 17th Jan 2018. Everything checks out for me at this hotel and I would highly recommend staying here on the following parameters if you want to visit Bharatpur.
(1) Location: Just 200 mts from the entry gate of the Koeladeo National Park (Bird Sanctuary). Cycle rickshaws are available at the entry gate of the hotel itself so one can get on one of them and reach the Bird Sanctuary entrance in no time.
(2) Quality of Room: Excellent rooms allowing for great quality of sleep. The rooms have televisions with Tata Sky and all non-HD channels are available. 24-hour hot running water and a good shower. This is quite an important point since the peak tourist season here is the winters (temperature can be as low as 4 degrees celsius) and a hot shower allows one to get refreshed after a hard toil photographing in the sanctuary. Good linen and toiletries in general.
(3) Food: Food is quite good. I had opted for a dinner included package. Typically, for such a package, they have a buffet option. However, for 2 of the 3 nights I stayed there, they didnt have a buffet since occupancy was not high. On the 3rd night, there was a buffet with a decent spread. Breakfast options are also good. For readers from countries other than India, I would strongly recommend tasting their green chutney. A form of this is prepared in almost all households of India and is an accompaniment with a variety of dishes, including a bread spread on sandwiches. Its a little spicy but I would still recommend that one tastes it, it is quite well made.
(4) Service: The hotel fares well against the legendary Rajasthani hospitality that one comes to expect from any hotel in Rajasthan. Would particularly like to mention Negi-ji who ended up serving me majority of the times.
(5) Other Information: (a) About 5 kms from the Bharatpur railway station, costs about INR 100 by autorickshaw. The hotel can also arrange a car pick up at an extra cost. (b) if you are in a group, the hotel arranges for bonfire during the winter evenings which can be warm and fun.
