I had a single room. It was a bit small with no ac. It could get a bit hot even in December. Other than that i really enjoyed staying here and the staff was really friendly and helpful (even though it was her first day!)

Amazing staff and an awesome location! Stayed for 4 days and I couldn't have made the best choice for accommodation. Super near to Casa Batló, subway to every part of the city and train to the airport.
The staff is super friendly and always available to help with any doubt or action needed.
I'll definitely come back on my next trip to Barcelona!

I wouldn't bother with the breakfast as it is just eggs (you make yourself) and small packet croissants. The floor wasn't cleaned properly when we arrived and the duvet had stains on and the bed was weirdly lumpy! Also it's so hot and the only air conditioning is a solo fan (plug in) we were also so far up the building it's quite a walk. However, good location.

First, the location is great. Second, the elevator situation... put your luggage in the very tiny elevator and send it up to "principal", that's the level you check in. It's the historical district so, you have to choose, people or luggage in the elevator, but it's worth being able to walk to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. The rooms are tiny and dark. There are windows but they face another building so the sun won't wake you up. It's great for night owls. Morning birds, not so much. We found it hard to wake up BEFORE noon, so please please arrange return flights accordingly.
Breakfast, it's all you can eat hard boiled eggs and croissants and milk and cereal and orange juice and tea and coffee. There's a full kitchen to cook dinner if you want to buy dinner or prepare food to pack for the beach. Next door, there's a REALLY good pub named BCN Food &Beer with very reasonable prices. Being a couple of blocks from Gucci and Louis Vuitton, it is the best kept secret.
I'd recommend this place. To be clear, the drawbacks are the lack of natural light and no AC, just a fan. But, it's adequate if you need an affordable place. Everyone was very nice. It's non-smoking and not everyone followed the rules which was a shame because it was such a safe area they could have gone for a walk. But, overall, it was good.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in the double room overlooking the road. We had a great stay, the noise from the street did no interfere with our sleep, and the breakfast was reasonable for the price we payed.
The location is great, it was a 3 minute walk to the casa batlló, which is also where the Hop on Hop off tour buses stop - Very convenient, and only a 20 minute walk to the sagrada.
Plenty of restaurants and places to eat within a few minutes walk, and with a kitchen available you can cook your own dinner if you want and avoid some of the overpriced meals that are everywhere.
Finding the building was straightforward. Just use google maps and you will find it no problem, there are no signs except a small plaque on the wall next to the door and you might have get buzzed in. Elevator looks old and dodgy if you haven't seen one like it before but it's safe. Staff were excellent. Speedy check in. Helped us with directions and printing off tickets and also some tips on where to go.
Nice new kitchen - very clean and maintained well. Breakfast included orange juice, milk, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and croissants with jam. Yes, you have to do your own dishes - this is a shared environment so you clean up after yourself and respect the area. If you don't want to do this go to a luxury hotel. It's not hard to wash a dish.
Nice clean and modern washroom facilities. Cleaned throughout the day which Was good.
Overall great stay. Perhaps the only negative was the room itself was very warm, but there is a fan provided that we had running during the night which was fine. Recommended
