I had traveled to Matheran during the republic weekend this year (2018). The stay at the hotel was a decent one.
Pros:
⢠Food was a decent spread during BF, Lunch and Dinner. Taste wise as well it was good it suited our taste buds
⢠Special Events in Evenings keeps you busy. As there is not much to do in Matheran post the sun-set. So they have a live music, housie, magic show ...to keep childrenâs and families entertained
⢠Facilities - Swimming pool, rain dance, TT, Badminton Court etc. are all well maintained
⢠Staff was polite and well-mannered and we found them pretty helpful when need be
Cons:
⢠The rooms need a bit of maintenance in terms of electric sockets
Overall a decent experience and would surely come back to my next visit.

Visited with family for a night stay, located around 15-20 mins walk from station.
Property is huge but badly maintained ,definitely need some maintenance.
Pool is well maintained with a adjoining rain-dance arena, additionally has few water slides for kids.
Breakfast spread is really too less and definitely not worth the money.

We had a wonderful stay at the byke
They were repairing the place as painting was going on . But still I loved the place it was quite it was beautiful .
They had rain dance for an hour in the morning .
Had disc in the night and a hour of live music which I enjoyed all .
Also played badminton and basket ball.
Bit I still belive that the rooms should be modernised a bit specially the bathroom.

the byke heritage -matheran is a three star resort in matheran with very good ambience is spread over 7.5 acres is a pure vegetarian resort must visit resort if you are in matheran along with family and also very good place for conferences

One of the good heritage property in Matheran built up in 1854 by British person Huge malte who discovered Matheran. I stayed in heritage bungalow of Huge Malte. Its located last in the forest. Property is good but not the way it should be maintained. Be aware of monkeys. Its near by Matheran Market. It has 2 swimming pool n one is with rain dance n 2 slides FOR KIDS..Facility for swimming costume also. It has badminton, snooker n tennis court.. Good for KIDS. Restaurant has good Thali system. Food is tasty. Restaurant staff is polite n helpful. A LA CART has limited food variety. Don't try Biryani its not at all tasty. Must visit at least once.
