We could start rewriting all accolades already attributed to this marvellous property, its exceptional staff and superb settings, but suffice to say that Chedi even exceeded all our expectations.
Let's add some remarkable extra's we enjoyed:
- A driver took us to local manufacturers to help us select some artwork and even assisted with the negotiations. This was up and above anything we have experienced before and was done without any extra charge whatsoever.
- Our butler turned out to be a real local friend and helped us with anything we wanted to know. We will fondly remember the discussions about local cuisine and his help in getting some sought-after bookings at the best local restaurants.
- The last thing that came rather unexpected was the snake that crossed the road in front of us and decided to take a nap a few feet away. Suffice to say that the staff reacted very professionally, had the snake removed and made the entire adventure into a short National Geographic sequence.
Thanks again, dear people at Chedi. We will carry only the fondest memories to our stay and we have you to thank for it!

Amongst the best places I have stayed at. This resort is truly 5 star.
The villas are spacious with so much storage room. We had a villa with a pool overlooking the rice paddies. The pool was a great size & a refreshing temperature. The sounds of running water was truly serene & blocked out any noises coming from outside (not that there was much noise). We totally unwound & when in our villa felt like we were the only people around yet our butler, Ayu, was only a phone call away. She kept our room in pristine condition & even removed the plastic wrap around our cases when taking them to our room. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Complimentary mini bar & snacks. The best water pressure in the shower that we have experienced in Bali.
All of the staff were extremely friendly & would do anything for you.
I tried the yoga twice & it was great, the sounds of roosters crowing, chirping birds & running water with the views of rice paddies & lakes made it just perfect.
Breakfast was lovely with staff knowing our names & making juices, coffees & our breakfast to order. They even put a stool next to our table so that my bag & our hats didnât sit on the floor.
It rained during our stay & staff made sure we had umbrellas when we needed them.
Courtesy cars will take you to Ubud. I had a driver take me to the Elephant caves & asked him to wait for me, well he actually gave me a tour acting as my guide.
I canât speak highly enough of The Chedi Club. It was a perfect start to our trip & we will return.

This Hotel was truly a unique stunning property, on a huge 6 acres of grounds, but more than the beautfiul property is the staff and service that is the true standout for this hotel! I had a beautfiul pool Villa overlooking the rice paddies, which was definitely someting quite unique and great for pics :). The pools are huge and no need to to leave your room, so the hotel feels like you are the only one's there :)
We had our own Butler Kammang I think his name was and was always there whenever needed, without being intrusive, it was nice having the same person for the entire stay there, you get to build a good rapport. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the food was also delicious, especially their local coffee!! I think the thing I thought which was the best I've seen is the fact they give you complimentary high tea (4-6) even to your villa and they made it custom for me, gluten free!! That was amazing, as well as free cocktails 6-7, again they will bring it to your villa by your own pool. Even do your laundry 12 pieces per room per day, that is such a bonus.
Honestly value for money this property with all the extras is hard to beat. The grounds are stunning and they even have free yoga classes in the morning which I loved outdoors overlooking all the greenary. They truly have perfected the guest experience to a tea! All the staff were super firendly and the management made sure you want for nothing!
The communal pool was beautifully set and there are lots of artefacts and art pieces to spot all across the property. I'd highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to come back to visit again!!

This is a fantastic property with great facilities, food and of-course, the dedicated staff.
This is a boutique hotel/resort with only 25 Villas and some smaller units.
You will at some stage take ownership of the property as you hardly see other guests.
The perfect getaway!
The butler service was the icing on the cake and what a wonderful experience!
We will most definitely return whenever possible as UBUD is the place to be.
Access to most of what Bali has to offer is close by.
Rooms came with unlimited bar,
Inclusive afternoon tea,
Inclusive cocktails!
etc etc......
Thank you to the beautiful staff who catered for all that we required!

Had an amazing time here . Exceeded our expectations and first time in Bali. Food quality was impeccable and cooking class a highlight . Wonderful service from our Butler and everyone else. Very peaceful, relaxing place . Perfect for our anniversary. We will be back !
