Have been to Mussoorie for a few times. This time is was just to relax with the family at a quite location and we chose to stay at The Claridges hotel.
Its a little away from the main town and is nestled between green forests. The rooms are cosy and warm. The view from the room were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was quite good.
They have a few lawns in the premises for kids and it is an old hotel with modern amenities.
Would love to visit again.

I had an occasion to visit this Hotel alongwith family from 2nd January to 4th January, 2018. Though this was my third visit to the hotel but this time quality and standard of services was not upto the mark. The hotel should maintain its services irrespective of number of occupancy. During our stay, occupancy was from 25-30 pax in the entire hotel. However, the staff on duty was not adequate. At buffet breakfast we were kept waiting for considerable time as service staff was not posted adequately. Also in spite of my requesting for fruit basket, which was mentioned in their reservation confirmation mail, but same was not provided. Carpet placed in the room was quite dirty. Overall, the service was very poor. I have decided not to visit this place again.

Best part is the cut off location, it is for people who like the calmness and want to be away from noise and the hustle. Lavish Rooms and well maintained but staff little stingy.
Breakfast n food can be improved for certain. Costly food wherein mostly people prefer food outside. Rotis cost a scorching Rs 50 each !!
Good for families but be ready to have your transport or depend on hotel for pick and drop.
Worst part of Mussorie is Private Parking & poor infra overall.

We spent 3 Nights 4 Days at this hotel during our trip to Mussoorie. The Claridges is a charming little hotel reminiscent of the days of the English Raj. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for me, my husband and my little baby and the staff was very accommodating to our needs. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the main market, so perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

Located away from the hustle and bustle of the town, The Claridges Nabha Residence, as the name suggests was actually the home of the Nabha family which is now converted into a hotel and managed by Claridges. Spread over about 15 acres, this property is away from the city .. it is at a short drive from the city and sure enough need a car to reach this place.
Once inside the premises, the property is laid out in the format which has rooms on all the sides and huge courtyard in the center. The Mussorie town is located in the backdrop at a height and during the night the bright lights of the town light up the backdrop.
We had taken couple of premium rooms around the courtyyard ... like in a palace, the rooms were quite large with furniture which took you back to the princely era .. while the room and the furniture brought out the palatial charm, it was clubbed with all modern amenities of modern life. The rooms are quite large with a sitout inside the room, a dressing area and a large bathroom ... in all may add up to almost 400 sq ft plus.
The hotel has sitout and open areas even outside the room where one can sit with family and friends and enjoy some lovely chats over breakfast and in the evening over drinks.
Being a hill station and a little laid back, the breakfast affair is a little late and was typically laid out post 7.30 am on the days we were staying at the hotel. To add to the that, the spread was a little compromised with not too many options and more of basic spread. This is where the hotel gave the royal feel a miss - the breakfast surely was not befitting the royal experience otherwise given by the hotel.
The hotel has some great facilities for recreation with a proper sports area with table tennis, badminton, tennis and several other facilities. This surely is a great add on for the guest wanting to not step out and yet bring in some action in daily life. The staff is quite codial and helpful and does try to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
Overall, a great property, well maintained and with open spaces to give a relaxed feel. Turns out to be a great option for a relaxed, laid back holdiay.
