It was a real nice stay. Staff friendly, and helpful. it was clean and location convenient enough. Could walk to Castle and shopping arcade.
Though clean, everything seemed like from the last century. Made for a so-so experience so the so-so rating.

I have been travelling to Japan for many years. This is the time the hotel I stay have no WiFi and no instant coffee, this is very bad!!! The staff just smile when I have comments. Price is expensive than a lot of other hotel and this one is the worst!!!

Very good ambience. All that you expect from such a Hotel is there. The service is efficient. Rooms overlooking the water have beautiful view with a Chinese fishing net in view. Pool side is well landscaped

The hotel staff iwas highly trained, professional and hard working. However, the physical condition of the room and corridor on 11 th floor were in poor condition. The bathroom floor of 1107 was cracked. Its location was convenient.

I was travelling as part of a group so had no choice of hotel. While the staff were very friendly (as they are everywhere in Japan), few of them spoke English. The beds were so hard that sleeping on the floor might have been preferable and the bathroom was postage stamp size. My large frame could barely get through the door. Agree with other reviewers about the breakfast - very ordinary and not much choice for westerners who are not keen on Japanese style breakfasts. We attended a function in one of the function rooms. The food at this was marginally better. The best thing about this hotel was its location - close to the castle and some great shopping as well as the markets. I had a view of a wall - typical fare for someone in a room on their own.
