Best Place to stay @ Mandawa

Stayed at the Desert Resort, Mandawa, in Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. Good resort, the rooms are comfortable and the food is good, though terribly expensive.
The resort is neat and clean, and has all the trimmings.
The accommodation is very dimly lit and the small windows do not make use of the natural lighting. Some of the rooms are completely over the top, with excessive tribal art.
The staff is very friendly and they go the extra mile.
Best place to stay in Mandawa.

If you wish to spend time in clean old monument with warli painting all around then you are at right place. Entire resort is decorated with mud coating. Very spacious rooms in circular style plus 4 additional rooms for toilet, bathroom, dressing room and cupboard room separately attached to your living room. wide variety of food with local Rajsthani as well continental. staff need to trained but tolerable.
Not to my taste; didn't feel clean

This hotel tries to replicate a resort in the desert, and it just did not appeal to me. The walls in my room were finished rough-clad and did not feel fresh and clean. The design was awful and difficult to work in. It had five separate areas, a tight squeeze past the bed, and a steep step. The restaurant was good for dinner, but breakfast was luke-warm. Wi-Fi is chargeable and not very good. Parts of the grounds are very pleasant, but the units are surrounded by bare soil and dust. The hotel is also well out of the town centre.
Filthy pool! Disappointing Hotel.

We stayed here for just a couple of nights. The property has a certain charm and the facilities are pretty reasonable. This place has huge potential to be a fantastic resort. However, it falls well short of expectations:
1) Cleanliness. While not dirty it wasnât exactly spotless. A little more effort would go a long way. Maybe a wipe down of the bathroom walls, get a shine on the taps, dust all the alcoves would improve things. The state of the door from the kitchen to the buffet is a little off putting!
2) We had to get the staff to clear one of our rooms of several rather nasty looking yellow wasps. The room should have been checked before we arrived!
3) There was a dirty plate and bottle left outside an adjacent room for the entirety of our stay!
4) Average food, served in a dark dining room, with annoying musicians that hang around your table until you bung them some cash.
5) Stinking trash lines the road approaching the hotel! ( youâll get to appreciate this even more if you do the camel ride)
The worst thing of all was the the pool. It was absolutely filthy. it was full of dead bugs (including the aforementioned big yellow wasps). The kids were really disappointed! Ordinarily, Iâd mention any concerns to the staff at hotels, but not in this place. It just didnât feel like friendly environment.
It was my worst experience to stay at the resort..

Poor food taste, same menu repeated in breakfast, pathetic room service.
The venue was booked for some marriage party and all staff is busy in maintaining that.
I will not recommend the resort at all.
