The Dusun is my favourite place to stay in Bali! The location is fantastic - 2 minute walk from the beach, nestled away off a side street which makes is very quiet & peaceful yet centrally located.
The staff was so warm and welcoming upon arrival and delivered EXCELLENT service the entire week I was there! Seriously, they will go above and beyond, always with a smile on their face. Everyone knows your name and they are happy to make recommendations and even drive you nearby at no extra charge. Airport pickup/drop off also included which is very handy. Check in and out was very pleasant.
The villa itself was exceptional. The 3 bedroom villa is stunning and spacious - 2 of the bedrooms are in the main building and the other bedroom is in its own space across the lawn. The ensuite bathrooms are huge! There's a full kitchen, speakers, gorgeous pool, the beds are incredibly comfortable, shower is perfect, and it's all beautifully landscaped.
Breakfast is served at your villa every morning and you can pick what you want from the menu. Loads of food and drink options so there's something for every palate. Every afternoon you can get high tea served at your villa as well and the pastries are delicious!!!! There's a turn down service every evening.
I love the Dusun because it's not a massive resort or traditional high-rise resort. Each villa is totally private and accessible by your own gated entrance. You have the space entirely to yourself and it's peaceful, calm and fantastic. It's close to a ton of restaurants, shopping, the beach, etc. but has the bonus of not being right in the middle of the madness. The staff is top notch and you really feel at home during your stay. Can't recommend the Dusun enough!

Pure magic! The staff are what make these villas so incredible. They went out of their way for all of our needs no matter how little from driving us around to researching the meaning of a statue I saw they offered to help in every way possible. The actual villa and pool was stunning, our breakfasts were delicious and the spa treatments fantastic. Every need was catered to including a turn down service and spray for mosquitoes. We were even surprised with beautiful little cakes on Christmas Day. Iâd definitely visit The Dusun again.

For my 40th birthday 9 friends and I descended upon the dusun and we could not have chosen better.
Location is brilliant, mexicola, Bodyworks, La Lcuiolla, Bamboo restaurant are all at your door step.
The villas are quiet, large and well maintained. Very attentive staff make your stay even better.
Our AC in one room broke during the stay but staff whisked us off to another villa without issue.
Finally a banquet with suckling pig was organised to top off our stay.... just brilliant

We are regular travellers to Bali and have stayed at Dusun on previous visit. We are not fans of traditional hotels and love the atmosphere of Dusun. Private pools are lovely, great staff and a real sense of being in a traditional Balinese style character villa that includes all the mod cons. And the location is perfect. Should you wish to venture out of the immediate area the driver will drop you to Biku, Made's Warung etc.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The driver that dropped us off at the airport didn't even mind making a short stop for us to buy some souvenirs.
Stayed in the grand villa which was fantastic. Felt like our own private resort with a great pool and outdoor area to eat and chill. Even provided an outdoor speaker system which connects to your phone.
Location is also quite good. Short walk away to popular potato head bar. There's also a mini mart right outside the villa.
