Spacious but empty

Stayed in this property enroute to the Himalayas. It is on the periphery of Tezpur town. What strikes you most in this property is spacious lobby, dining area, and the vastly open back yard with an open lawn and a walking path. It could do with a bit of landscaping. The deluxe room that we stayed in was comfortable, but for the lack of an iron and an unfixed safe which was locked. I ran out of hot water midway through my shower. Even though there weren’t anybody else other than a group of nine in the next table, an order of a soup and noodles took well over a three quarter hour to be served. However the food was tasty and sumptuous. The staff were also cordial and friendly.

An average hotel

I was on a official trip to ferns hotel. The hotel is average and buffet spread is very limited. Hope they will improve the quality of rooms also. The management is leat bothered about the guests. The only best part was that this is the only hotel in Tezpur which offer a decent room other that KF.

Centrally Located Hotel with Lush Green Large Garden and Grand Banquet Hall

Returning from Dirang/Bomdila after a long drive of 8 hours we reached Hotel The Fern Residency in Tezpur at about 5 PM and were very happy to get the courteous service of the the reception staff. Since we had only an overnight stay, we asked the staff about the information on sight seeing places that our travel agent in Guwahati had identified in the tour itinerary. We got god tips with courtesy and promptness. The room provided to us was also very spacious and well furnished. The hotel is centrally located right on the highway but with ample space for parking. The best attraction of this hotel is its large well laid out garden behind the main building and for a morning walker it is really a boon. This garden is through a verandah and banquet hall and also accessible from the dining hall. I thoroughly enjoyed my walk next morning. Although we did not take dinner here being pure vegetarian and instead went out in search of a vegetarian restaurant, a problem in whole North East, Of course, next morning we had our breakfast as it was included in the room rent. The restaurant has got very good ambience and excellent furnishings besides a prompt and courteous service. The items available for the buffet breakfast were reasonably OK having good choices, though less for the vegetarians but these were quite tasty. Free wi-fi is available and there was also an electrical kettle with tea/sugar/milk sachets in the room for making tea/coffee.On the whole for us It was a satisfying experience. I found facility for gym and spa also in the hotel.

Excellent hotel in Tezpur

One of the excellent hotel in Tezpur we stayed on way to Tawang. Rooms are nicely decorated. Buffet dinner in first floor restaurant was mouth watering specially gravy chicken. Good breakfast. Staff was helping. In short every thing was good. Room has flat screen TV and tea/coffee kettle.

stayed here while on tour to tawang.....for one night only but it attracted me a lot . It impresses a lot on entry only

stayed here for only one night halt, enjoy the stay peacefully with lot of co operative staff
cannot write much as the stay was for only one night cannot express any thing more. it was trip with a group
