As part of a tour group of 24 people we fully occupied this hotel for three nights in late November. It made a wonderful break in a fairly arduous tour of the Golden Triangle. The service was impeccable and the rooms were beautifully furnished. Getting together for drinks around a log fire under the stars was a very special experience. Would love to return one day but for at least a week this time.
Great place to chill out after the hustle and bustle of Jaipur

Out in the country near Jaipur. Wonderful hotel that used to be a Maharaja's Hunting Lodge.
Excellent facilities. Great Food.
Nice to wander around the vicinity where we spotted Black Face Monkeys, Camels and a Banyan Tree
Best place to stay between Jaipur and Sasriska

This was a hunting lodge, and the gorgeous animals which the British and Maharajas so brutally killed, were stuffed and on display all along the walls of this hotel....not sure where's the pride in killing for joy!
Anyway, the hospitality was typical Taj Class...no complaints. Suite was huge with two king size bed, sitting area, huge (and I mean it) bathroom and french windows opening to the lawn. The huge reservoir overlooking the hotel is completely dry due to no rain during the last few years, but there was enough vegetation to get a green cover.
We booked a MAP deal with breakfast and dinner...while the choices were limited, all dishes were tasty. The Chef met us and kindly cooked bland "Khichri" for our daughter...generally she is very fussy with food, but this one she gobbled up...must have been very tasty. The Chef also packed sandwich for us on the day we went to Sariska.
We tried the Aurveda Spa, and it was a great experience.
Be aware that the entrance to the hotel can be missed easily if you are driving on your own as Google Maps do not point at the right entrance. The hotel did call us and guided us. We did a day trip to Sariska Tiger Reverse, which s about 80Km from this hotel.
We booked 2 nights at this hotel in Oct (Diwali time). Wish we had the time and money to unwind a whole week here... its truly worth it!
