Very comfortable, warm, recently refurbished room. Complimentary tea, coffee and water in the room. Great walk in shower. Tasty breakfast and free parking at a great price. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed last night as visiting friends who live nearby. Great experience from start to finish. Rooms refurbished to a high quality, great service from the team, excellent breakfast and great value. Would definitely visit again, no hesitation in recommending.

The George has been refurbished to a really good standard and having sated here before we weren't disappointed with the accommodation standards and breakfast the following morning. The only thing that let it down was the level of noise from the one group/singer in the bar which we weren't told about at the point of booking and the lack of parking for the pub/hotel which is advertised as being opposite in the carpark although this was full

All staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention for the manager who was informative and could not do enough to help. Great refurbished bar and restaurant. Room was big, warm and nicely decorated. Excellent shower room.

A true local bar and restaurant , this is where the locals hang out , great atmosphere and some very good food , now including delicious authentic Indian Cuisine, cooked by a long experienced Indian Chef.
A lovely place to chill out and eat any day of the week.
