The hotel is near the temple that is the advantage.
The rooms have central A/C, which was not effective. No fans in the rooms. The cleanness is average. water logging in the bath rooms.
when we reached the Hotel there was a confusion on the booking date, where my stay was on 2 nd Oct17 check in, they have considered as of 1st . This resulted in some waste of time, and the receptionist refused to talk to the Agoda agents through whom the booking was done. They were not bothered.
Stay if you have NO other choice.

it is near nataraja temple.
good location .with attached restaurent it is very convenient.
with better maintenance its rating can improve.
people are helpful and completion of renovation ,it will be better place to stay

This hotel is situated in east car street just a walking distance to the nataraja temple... rooms are modern as the hotel is new built....you have a option of complimentary breakfast.....but other times you have get your food from outside...as there is no restaurant inside....thers a party hall for occasions.....other than that its good place to stay....the points given is for the location...as it is nearby to the temple....

I am bound to agree with most of the other travelers on how poorly the hotel is maintained. Unkept rooms, old toilet fittings, and the list goes on. If you want to stay in a good hotel, move away from Chidambaram and stay in nearby places.

A very poorly maintained hotel. The first room we were shown the bathroom was flooded and the room smelled very damp. The second room was better but sheets and pillow cases full of holes and stained. Towels also badly stained and threadbare. Had to ask three times for better towels. Took a long time for hot water to emerge in the bathroom. Staff slow to respond. Rang multiple times trying to get the air conditioning remote to turn it off. The only good thing about the place was the morning breakfast (that's if you like South Indian food because there was only one option)!
