Recently went here with family for a carvery, the food was delicious, cooked well and the service was quite quick. There were lots of places to sit so chose to sit near three carvery. Priced well too so no excuse not to take family there. It was much better this time, last time we went at Christmas time and there was a long wait.

Stayed here for 2 nights and was woken up on the first morning by what sounded like an angle grinder in the hands of a workman in room number 17.
The room was not the cleanest to be honest and the duvet was in dire need of replacing.
The hotel is situated on the top of a fairly steep hill and is about a 20 minute walk from Goring Station.
I didn't eat here but the coffee shop and carvery did appear very busy, so I would guess the food is pretty good.

Room 7!! Bed was broken, quilt was ripped.
The carpet was wet from the toilet leaking, put a towel down and it turned yellow from wee.
Room absolutely stunk of wee.
8 of us had room in the restaurant, took an hour and half for meals to come out. 3 meals were taking back as they were cold. When they came back they were still cold. The rest wasnât eaten as they were stale, dry and undercooked.
After telling staff about the room having wee all over the floor, to their was no apologieing just her response was âwell, we are saving up to do up the room....â

Held my 50th birthday disco in the ballroom. All went smoothly on the night â nice staff, all very clean and the venue was great. Lovely room - nice linen on tables. Large dancefloor - plenty of room for people. Very clean toilets.

We were upgraded to the bridal suite, however we wouldn't have paid for it. It was very basic. Bathroom needs updating, as do the chairs which were covered in stains. Bed creaks every time you move which disturbed my sleep. Breakfast is help yourself, so get down early as when we came down at 9ish, the cooked breakfast had been sat there for a while.
If you have a small budget and just need to lay your head for the night, then this hotel is fine.
