Acceptable - At least if was clean

I'm not exactly sure how to rate this hotel. Firstly let me say the staff we extremely friendly and would do what they could to help. They couldn't make many decisions though everything had to go to the boss, but anyway, they were friendly and at least tried.

The check-in staff were helpful in getting my special request attended to.

The hotel itself was just OK. In the rooms it seemed everything was broken. I'm not sure the word maintenance has been considered. Some of the electrical outlets didn't work the taps were lose, toilet seat wasn't attached properly. All of them little little things but they all add up to an overall feeling of run down and lack of maintenance.

Overall the room was OK. It was relatively clean (except the mould in the shower) the bed was comfortable and bedding was clean. The towels looked like they had been through the wash thousands of times and well used but they were clean. Nice sized bathroom with good hot water pressure. The room had a kettle, TV (which I didn't turn on), small fridge, a few bottles of water each day, some coffee, so overall everything you need. It also seemed safe with people watching who was coming in and out all the time.

The breakfast was also OK. The coffee didn't taste like coffee but there were freshly cooked eggs lot of Indonesian choices as well as cereal and breads. All average but OK.

Just an average place that needs brightening up. A good renovation and with the staff this could be an excellent place.

I didn't try the pool or gym on this trip so I can't comment although the pool looked very small. Also as previous people commented the internet was not good at all.

Getting to and from was a little difficult with all the traffic but that's just Indonesia and no fault of the hotel I guess.

I was at the hotel for 1 night, the check in process was smooth. We only have 1 working elevator, maybe it was just energy saving program. The room is quite comfy, all required things are available, and the best part is the location of the hotel is very strategic at Palembang main artery, close to fast food restaurant and even hospital.

I have not got a chance of trying the swimming pool nor the WiFi service, but i am sure this is a good quality hotel. Breakfast is also okay, I enjoyed it.

Broken Key Room, Air Conditioner, and Nearly Dead Internet Connection

I slept for 2 days at this hotel, first time I arrived I couldn't get early check in. Well that doesn't matter duet to it was also my fault by not contacting first.

Then I got room 528 with broken key card. I mean really broke. I don't know whether it was the card or the sensor at the door. But the door wouldn't be opened. So if I want to get to my room I have to go to receptionist and asked them to open my room. There was no additional key card for me, so that's what happened. Until I borrowed the other key the cleaning service used to open the door. Manual key.

First day at evening, the AC was down. I don't know whether it was broken or just the electricity connected to the AC in my room was off, in fact the AC went down. Need to contact operator and receptionist by phone in my room few times until they came and repair the AC.

The wifi connection was also sucks. The connection was very slow, and we need a special place to get the signal. When we moved to another part of the room, the signal will lost.

Well, come on... I paid the room and I was expected I got better services than this.

One thing was good about this hotel is the location of this hotel was very strategic. Not as strategic as another hotel around Kampus Area, but it was still good. Trans Musi (local public transportation) bus stop was exactly at the front of this hotel so you can go where ever you want around the city.

A good hotel

This hotel is good, clean, comfortable. It has AC, TV, hot water,and smocking area. The meeting room is big and cozy. The sound system also good. The dining room is big and has various meals and beverages.

Run Down Property and definitely not for the non-smoker.

Located in the main street of Palembang and could be reached within 30-40 minutes from the airport. It is closed to many famous restaurants in Palembang.

Upon checked in, we were given 2 rooms, on the 5th floor. The first room we passed was opened and I could see many people smoking inside. I asked the bellboy whether the rooms that given to us are non smoking, he said no. The non-smoking is on level 6. Then the drama began.

Management tried to explain that they did not have dedicated floor for the non-smoking room. They organize the non smoking room by row but the opposite is the smoking room. I did not see the logic of this excuses.

Finally we were given the rooms in 6th floor. They said the 2 rooms given to us are non-smoking and they are deluxe one. It took them 40 minutes to prepare them.

Rooms are clean, but not well maintained. The electric kettle is brownish, pillows are flat, walls are full with children' scratches but did not re-paint.

The runner on the bed is stitched and it is very visible, while the hotel is not 100% occupancy, they were not even able to give me perfect runner.

Overall, hotel smell damp and is not well maintained. I did not recommend this hotel if you are a non-smoker.
