The hotel is converted from a home (kothi) to a hotel (as told by the owner himself). the reception and waiting area is amazing. The rooms are tried to give a tradition look. were very clean, service was awesome. but very noisy as some construction work was on in nearby area. The food was good. overall a good stay ..

To start with I wouldnât call this a hotel review but for me it was a home away from home. We checked in on 30-Jan and stayed till 05-Feb. A very warm welcome by the staff and the owner themselves!! The owners of the hotel (Trideepji & Tapanji) are present most of the times and each requiement of yours is given a very personal detailed attention.
The staff at the hotel is very well mannered, courteous, helpful and friendly. Be it staff at any level, they are all very well groomed!! Though, I havenât been able to get all the names but the restaurant manager Raghunathji is very welcoming too like the others!!
Itâs 128 years old property which belongs to the then commander in chief of the king. The current owners (Trideepji & Tapanji) are the 5th generation. The property is very traditionally decorated with the selectives, however; itâs got all the possible modern facilities.
I would highly recommend this place whether youâre travelling solo, couple, friends, family or a group. It was the most heart touching moment when Tapanji, one of the two owners, himself came to see us off when we were checking out.

This place was the home of an old family, but has been converted to a 20 room hotel with a very grand portico entrance. The family now lives in a much more manageable new building.The owner explains the history which is very interesting. The rooms are well appointed and we had an enormous bed which required a 3 step stool to get onto. Very good buffet breakfast outside and very good dinner upstairs on the rooftop by candlelight. Very attentive staff.

This is a real Kothi in town going back a 128 years. Superbly maintained. Hats off to the owners. Ours was room no 1 with a small garden and a nice sitting arrangement in front. Royal welcome in a traditional style with a welcome drink. Snacks, soft drinks and water bottle as a complementary was a surprise. Food was really good. Place is a bit on the other side of the monuments but is well connected with Ola and Uber. A complete value for money hotel!!

Location poor, rooms smelled of the urinal cake in the sink mixed with mildew, noisy, beds a thin pad over wooden frame. Food on offer masquerading as breakfast barely worth mentioning, will charge you for the one water bottle in your room. Staff yelling about in the garden early and late
