I just picked this place from a list to fit in with my journey and ended going off the A5 down a single track road wondering if I shouldn't have chosen somewhere else. However I arrived to find a delightful hotel in a beautiful village. The Hotel was old but the rooms were modern and really nicely fitted out and very comfortable. I had dinner in the busy restaurant which was good and the breakfast was excellent.
This place puts some of these modern hotel chains to shame . It was well worth the detour , highly recommended!

We booked this at the spur of a moment and so pleased we did. Everything was perfect. The room, the staff and the food were amazing. Its in a beautiful little vilage with all amenities in walking distance. Cosy little pubs and cafes. Will def go back . Ps breakfast was awesome

Wasnât expecting much as prices were quite cheap.
I am a business owner and am not often this impressed by service, food and the accommodation. Definitely a 5 star.

We booked this on a deal, the hotel was exceptionally clean and staff very Welcoming, Simon the General Manager was very helpful, the rooms were a good size and well laid out. We had a meal in the restaurant the food was very, very good, I would recommend just going to have one of their steaks. The staff were very good and service was on point, there were locals in and out of the bar area and there was a good atmosphere.

I stayed 2 nights, on business in the area, had a night at home, and then had to come back for another night. It says it all that I booked again. The room was clean with a decent shower, the bathroom was modern. the bed comfy, and the Wifi wasn't so bad. My deal with hotels.com included breakfast, but I'd have to pay extra for a cooked one. Except that cooked breakfast doesn't start until 7:30. They were happy to leave a continental breakfast out. Staff were friendly.
