I have stayed at Madurai Residency several times and continue to find it a clean, reasonably-priced hotel with friendly, responsive staff. The complimentary breakfast has a wide variety of food choices, all tasty. Its location in the center of town is very convenient to all transportation hubs, Meenakshi Temple, shopping and restaurants. There is a considerable difference between the âstandardâ and âcomfortâ rooms so if possible, would recommend the extra expense for a âcomfortâ room.

Clean, comfortable, reasonably-priced hotel near train station and within walking distance of Meenakshi Temple. A good free breakfast is included. I did not try their restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. If a view matters, look at your room first. Ours faced a brick wall, but that also meant it was quieter.

I have visited Madurai with my family on 2nd Feb. and stayed at Madurai Residence. I found staff was helpfull. The hotel was clean and neat. Food was also good. In future if I visit I will prefer to stay in this hotel

Hotel is situated at a central location. Madurai Railway Junction is opposite, Periyar Bus stand is 2 mins away, major market / shopping area is 2 mins away and Airport is 20 mins away. Check in is smooth and hassle free. While we waited as the room was being prepared welcome drinks were provided. We stayed here for 1 night in standard room. The room is clean and aesthetic in décor. Room has split AC, Flat TV, Satellite connection. Housekeeping staff are polite, quick and helpful. The rooftop restaurant has nice views of the city at night. The food is delicious and served in large quantities. Credit cards are accepted at the Restaurant. Complimentary Morning English newspaper was provided. Breakfast was complimentary. The food was Sumptuous. Check out process is quick.

Hotel is near to Railway Station and Meenakshi Temple. It is in centre of city on busy roads. Room Service and Cleanliness are very good. Hotel have roof top restaurant for Dinner and Food is really very tasty. Breakfast was also good with wide range of items. Rooms have good amenities. A very good option in such price range. Staff is very Cooperative and Room Service are also very good. One can definately opt for this Hotel.
