I will keep this review short and straight to the point.
Deal makers
- Clean and spacious rooms with sizeable bathrooms
- Super duper comfortable beds. The quality of sleep is 100%. Incontestably magical
- The A/Cs in the room work perfectly well. Infact, I could not sleep with the A/C and still required the duvet
- Exceptionally professional and courteous staff
- Welcomed with chilled glass of Zoro. (A good feel of welcome and hospitality. We were served 'Zobo'. Zobo drink is a familiar beverage loved by Nigerians. It is produced from dried roselle or sorrel leaves (Hibiscus Sabdariffa). This was quite sweet. I love it.)
- Parking space available albeit limited
- Extremely quiet and private environment
- The food was really good with a few options. They also cater to your specific egg style.
- Pool side is really good for relaxing. We had our morning tea at the pool side and I loved it. Sadly, the pool itself was under maintenance, so the view wasn't as I would love it
Deal breakers
- The water heater wasn't functional and I had to bath with semi-warm water all through my stay.
- Slow internet
I look forward to returning.

I stayed for a week, for a business trip. The hotel was very clean. Service in general was always slow. Room was quite small the same as the bathroom. WiFi worked well in the room, although in the common areas didnât worked. Breakfast was pretty good with plenty of options.

First off, we drove to the hotel to check in and they refused to let us park our car inside. Instead, we had to park far away from the hotel and walk down with our luggage...in the night. Then we get there only to find that they have given away our rooms...which we reserved about two weeks ago!!!
The managers of this hotel obviously have no regard for their paying customers. This was very disappointing. Moorhouse is supposed to be a household, 5-star hotel, but after this i'm never booking a room there again.

The rooms smelt of damp and were unclean, the wifi did not work in the rooms, the food was terrible and the reception staff were unhelpful. My complaints were ignored. Possibly the worst hotel stay I have ever had - avoid!

i had to change my room thrice first one Bathroom fittings were not working second one Airconditoner was not working and finally with no option to change further room lock was not working and each time i needed someone from reception with master key to get inside my room
I think they are undergoing some renovation however service was equally poor i went to this hotel anticipating sofitel standards it way too far from sofitel standards though they are having sofitel tie up.
Still i would appreciate the efforts and gesture of hotel manger Miss Angela who was quite helpful
