There is not enough light in the room . The Restaurant staff is also not helpful. although As the name of the hotel is O Hotel I will rate this hotel a big 0. People sitting at the front desk don't have time to pick up the phone when you call them from the room. I will not recommend this to anybody.
Iâm never coming back

Arrived very tired but once we met Deepa and Janice on the front desk everything seemed to just fall into place.
Shown to our room and the luggage followed a few minutes later.
Pleasantly surprised at the size but with one drawback, a very small balcony. (We coped)
We went half board as it was our first time to Goa and the food did not disappoint. On the evening's we used the restaurant we seemed to be the only ones there which led us think that the other residents had been to Goa before and were more confident about eating out.
We have plenty of memories about our stay but one of the main ones was everyone working in the hotel were genuine, genuine people with genuine smiles and would do anything for you, fantastic people, miss them all tremendously
Lovely hotel, great location, would return!

The hotel is in an ideal position, outside of the busy centre of candolim but is near enough to the action/restaurants when you want it. The garden path leading to the beach is a great bonus as not many hotels are beachfront!
Check is was quick and efficient and reception staff were always friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast is simple but sufficient, a bit hit and miss when it comes to getting a tea or coffee - this would be better as self service.
Pool was actually bigger than we were expecting and the garden area is so peaceful and relaxing - a welcome retreat from the traffic and noise outside. Bagwan the pool guy was always on hand to provide towels and pillows, and rearrange your sun loungers and umbrellas as you wish. Pool bar is on the expensive side, and the food at the pool bar wasnât spectacular for the price - youâd be better off taking a 5 minute stroll down the beach to one of the shacks (Iâd recommend Mayaâs to the right or Big Blue to the left).
Rooms were perfect - only downside was the balcony, which was an odd triangle shape and you couldnât really fit any furniture to sit out on. Rooms were cleaned daily. On a few occasions we headed back to the room around 4.30pm after weâd had enough sun and the room still hadnât been made, which wasnât ideal, but not the end of the world. A request at reception for earlier cleaning rectified this.
Hotel grounds and gardens were lovely, we didnât try the onsite restaurant as it seemed to lack atmosphere and prices were quite steep. There was a new beachfront tapas place in the grounds (Boca Loca) which looked impressive. We werenât sure if it was up and running yet so didnât try there.
Previous reviews comment on the ârubbish and dirtyâ roads outside the hotel. We were expecting this, so weâre not shocked or put off by this at all. Having visited many other countries in Asia, this was nothing new. If you want sparkling promenades and immaculate pavements, you might want to stick to Benidorm or Tenerife! Bring an open mind, a sense of humour and a willingness to embrace India and you will not be at all disappointed!
We did hear some loud music on our last night, however we believe this was due to it being Indias Independence Day, and I doubt that the makeshift bar on the beach that was put up is there to stay.
All in all we would not hesitate to return to Goa or this hotel. We had a relaxing two weeks, the weather was perfect and the food was to die for!
Thanks O Hotel :-)
