Our room was spacious, the view fantastic, the service very impressive and the staff very warm and accommodating. I stayed at the Oberoi for 5 nights, and my room was always spotless, the staff went out of their way to meet and request and even went well beyond, leaving me one evening a case for my phone and cleaner for the glass on my phone, along with fresheners for my suitcase and shoes. I highly recommend the Oberoi for both location and serenity in the midst of a bustling city.

My wife and I along with our 4 year old twins stayed at the Oberoi for 2 nights while passing through Bombay at the end of January. The service was unrivaled and for an American traveling in Mumbai the price point is very reasonable with far superior service than equivalently priced western hotels. Furthermore, Nariman Point is a great place to stay with quick access to many fantastic areas. Of course the hotel is right on marine drive which is beautiful in itself.
We stayed in a business suite with breakfast included, which was helpful with the kids. Every need was addressed without any additional cost or pressure to spend more money. We were well taken care of and very comfortable using the hotel as a base to explore South Bombay. The kids were treated like gold and sent special clay-coloring sets from the hotel manager among other things. We were sent a complimentary bottle of champagne during our stay as well. The suite was spacious with a magnificent bathroom and views of the sea that were a pleasure.
To be honest, Iâm surprised this hotel was not packed with Western tourists. Service, location, and price point were all excellent and we really had no complaints. Moreover we were impressed with Bombay as an urban destination.

Just finished a five day stay at the Oberoi Mumbai.
The Oberoi can slowly but surely be considered as the best world hotel chain. Excellent service, really top-notch staff.
They went over the board with my wife's birthday, treating her like a queen (that she is...).
The rooms are very nice, may be a bit on the small size, and one could argue of a lobby lacking atmosphere, but the quality of the services largely compensate these little negative sides...

Traveling on business in Mumbai is complete insanity. The traffic and the noise are incredible. Thank goodness we had the Oberoi to return to after each day. The service is immaculate; every employee goes above and beyond to make sure that youâre comfortable. You have a private butler!
The rooms have thick windows, which is important, because Mumbai is very noisy. Sleep quality was very good here.
The on-site restaurants were reasonably priced.

Real Value for money. You get excellent Marine Drive view and neat and clean Suite. The food is exquisite. Great Food, Courteous Staff. Would recommend to all my friends and relatives. Enjoyed the stay!
