What a delight - charming country location

This was a delightful location in an very interesting home with character and a somewhat interesting history. Being the old vicarage it's history was tied up with the church during the early part of 20th century. Our hosts were were very welcoming and could not be more hospitable. The location was very rural, and as a result peaceful and quiet. Our room was fantastic and was very comfortable and well appointed with space to sit comfortably and relax with a cup of tea or coffee. Breakfast was a great treat and cooked to order. All in all the Old Vicarage can be highly recommended.

if you come to Cornwall come here !!!

Quiet B&B, with easy access to all surrounding areas.

Arrived via the country lanes which is signposted on the approach. Plenty of space for parking.

Full English breakfast available every morning, or choice of poached/scrambled eggs on toast as well as fruit salad, cereals all available.

Wifi hotspot in room, along with tea/coffee facilities, telly and sofas/armchairs in a spacious room.

New Year Mini Break

Traditional B&B in remote location but with excellent access to nearby facilities. The building is old circa 1700's and has original features which makes this place unique. Our friends live just around the corner so great to be able to walk and leave the car parked. You are given a key to the outside door which means you can come and go as you please, great when youre busy doing activites. We stayed in the Genimi room, great for family of four, twin beds, ensuite and King Size Room. The room was a little cold but when heating was on, it was fine. Bathroom is suffering from damp due to its age but fine. Clean towels provided daily and tea/coffee, biscuits. Breakfast was great! Pick from a sheet and leave the night before, excellent quality and portion sizes, enough to last the day! We even asked for something different and it wasn't any trouble, kids didnt make it down one morning so they provided a plate of croissants to take up for them, its the little things that make the difference! Only downside is breakfast is before 9am which is a little early some days but due to also running equine centre which we didnt have time to use but would do next time. Enjoyable stay and reasonable prices, great location, traditional accommodation.

Short break

After a recent break to Cornwall, we returned home, we stayed at the Old vicarage,We arrived after a 320 mile drive i found the place a little hard to find due to the sat nav but when we arrived we had a great welcome from the gentleman who showed us the room, we stayed in the Rose room which was pleasent and in keeping with the place,we requested an iron etc and the owner could not do enough for us,the breakfast was superb,i would very happily stay there again, and it is well positioned to explore the Cornish coast, permtting dogs without being charged more for is a major plus.
