Rajeev, his wonderful mother and staff make staying here a joy. The property is on the river where you can while the days away in a hammock watching the passing parade of houseboats. There is the main house and the heritage villa that has 3 rooms with a central dining area and verandah. We stayed upstairs in the main house in the highly recommended room with a balcony overlooking the river. The sunrise and sunsets are magnificent from here. There is another room with a dining lounge area with a balcony as well. Food is varied, fresh and delicious. I don't like chillies and I was well catered for. Rajeev can organise anything you want from taxis to a couple hours cruising around the Kerala backwaters... Much cheaper than a houseboat! I had 3 lots of washing done, returned ironed, for about 10AUD. All the money we spent there went to the local people and Rajeev spreads any services requested across many providers so money is given to many families. If Rajeev has time he will take you to see the Catholic Basilica built in the, 5th century. After staying 5 days I understand why people keep coming back.

We had two nights at this wonderful place. Rajeev is a very gentle host and able to fulfil nearly any wish of his guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we had authentic southindian and homemade food. A silent peace of paradise!

We spent three lovely days at the Pamba Heritage. As many of the reviews mention Rajeev could not have been a more perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble and he organised boat trips, massages and took us out for a couple of walks as well as organising a driver. The food was also delicious and tailored to our needs. We took the two modern rooms, one of which has great views of the river. It really is a great spot to watch the world go by.

The view from the room is really good. The host Mr. Rajiv takes care of all your needs and the food is very tasty at reasonable prices.
There are places to go for a walk or run along the paddy fields and he has a very sweet dog.

Pretty paradisiac comfortable well-tended heritage Villa with traditional old fashion Kerala rooms directly at the Backwaters! Fantastic tasty fresh homemade Kerala-Style dishes served by a very lovely Kerala born host :)
