I've given up

We regularly visit as a family and don't feel welcome anymore, feel much more at home in the ship or smiths which are both a taxi or a drive.
Will be back in the summer when the garden is open and hope this review is taken on good faith.
Could be so much better if the landlord's paid some interest!
Happy New Year

Stayed for New Years Eve just needed a room we ate out in Yarm, the room was very clean warm and comfortable with tea coffee and biscuits. It was quiet and the bed was huge. The breakfast wasn't great but the chef was off sick so it might have been the reason, plus the breakfast was free.

After visiting both The Masham and the Stockton Arms we called into the Parkwood for a last festive drink.
I ended up with a pint of larger after asking for a JD and coke. The bar person informed me that they are out and offered a honey Jd, then a Jamersonâs then a vodka??
Great building, massive potential but lost opportunities!
Between The Derry and The Masham this could be a great place to visit
This place should be bouncing tonight !!!

Last minute booking for tea but we have been a few times and always good food, 5 of us with 2 kids, very friendly and helpful staff but a special mention to the young lad, donât know his name but every time we go he is so helpful, pleasant and funny an absolute credit to the place. Good value for money, well cooked, good chips and reasonable prices drinks, definitely worth a visit
