Do not expect great reception! Government Lethargic attitude sometimes! However, rooms are specious. Cost is reasonable. Near to many prominent places.

The Plaza hotel in Begumpet is located right in the heart of the city of Hyderabad and is a very convenient base camp for one visiting as a tourist or for business purposes. Run by the government, the hotel is quite well-maintained with good rooms carrying plenty of facilities.
They have a nice restaurant serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spread is nice, but I found that apart from the South Indian dishes, the others were not as good. They also provide outdoor seating in the open, which has a good ambience.
If one is looking to take any tour offered by Telangana Tourism of Hyderabad or its surroundings, this is the right place to be in as all tours either begin or have a stop here.

A government run hotel.Very reasonably priced. Buffett is good.The rooms are spacious and view from some of the rooms looking over the party lawn and swimming pool is beautiful. The swimming pool is not very big, but is o.k for kids.Free wifi is available. Ola/Uber cabs are readily available.

Very nice ambience with well equipped rooms and superb service.
It is difficult to find such high class hotel within this area and budget.
Food and service are very good with full cooperation.
Must try once even if your are staying with your family or friends.
It has all the amenities as well to enjoy.

Well maintained hotel with good service and facilities. It is a government run hotel. Even though it keeps its standard in every aspect. Very good rooms with all necessary things(kettle, tea, mini bar, towels, mineral water etc ). Buffet breakfast was very good
