This is my second stay at a rain tree property, I have enjoyed the first stay better than this. While I was booking I was of the impression that this one would be much better than the other one which I already visited. There is nothing much to complain about all went good. There was no SPA and the pool area was not well organised.

From the pick up to departure was an absolute delight to be in. The housekeeping staff, restaurant staff esp. Mukesh, and the doormen were all courteous and ever willing to assist. These people made our stay really pleasant. The location was nice as well. Not overly bustling as the rest of chennai. The front desk manager was a nice and friendly chap. Who offered a cake as an addition but I guess he forgot. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The only qualms were the absence of Tamil dailies, beef in the menu and as usual a couple of snobbish management staff.

Our stay from late Jan2018 to early Feb2018 for 10 days was a delight from check in to check out. The room was clean and tidy.
Buffet breakfast was included which was a treat with a variety of local and western food, and the great staff that waited on us and others went above and beyond to please. There was Narendra, Catherine, Subrata, Seemon, Mukesh, Ratna, Ramesh and Chef Umapathy. Definitely a 10/10 rating for being enthusiastically helpful, professional, respectful and courteous, all the accolades of a very good Hotel, right down from the top with the GM Samy & DM Deeparaj.
There are three very good restaurants in the building with reasonable prices and a good menu.

Raintree scores very high on food, hospitality and soothing ambience. The breakfast buffet contain plenty of options for vegetarians. Special thanks to Shubrat, Mukesh, pradeep, ganesh and everyone. Keep it up. Thanks!

The Raintree Hotel is a good hotel. It is modern and very clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel! There is a pool and bar on the roof of the hotel.
