One of the few resorts in bandhavgarh located inside the forest, this one is sure to give the thrill and enjoyment for a jungle trip. Far from the madding crowd , this one has no TV in rooms and very limited mobile connectivity -a rare opportunity in the age of digital communications.
The cottages are spacious, well maintained and furnished with basic amenities. The bathroom is unique with open air shower providing a jungle experience. Room service is quick and staff are very cooperative.
Food is well cooked and served though more options need to be provided in meals.
The resort have a pool although owing to winter we could not use the pool. Provision of bonfire at every cottage in winter is icing on the cake.
The owner Mr. Varun Sharma is not only a humble host but also a knowledgeable guide for Jungle trips. On check in he briefs about the jungle and the resort. It will be thrilling to know that resort is in the area of the Tiger-Bhima. Varun Sharma will keep you thrilled with stories of encounter with Bhima around the resort.
A jungle quiz and tribal dance were held during our stay there. Not sure whether it is a regular feature at the resort.
Although we could not view the tiger during our two safaris but still the trip was a satisfying one all thanks to the Roaring Salvan County Resort.

Nice, simple and comfortable stay...Resort is located within jungle and unique experience. The proprietor Mr Varun and his staff has been very supporting and has personal touch in looking after their guests....Overall a great experience.....

the people who work their no manner how to treat / talk to their customer. absence of his owner all goes worst and not taking care of the people who come to stay their . we are not feel safe in the roaring salvon county.. we have been visited in this dec 2017 and its like they spoil our vacation.. food is not good. just giving us a boring food, with zero quality.. absence of their owner its like a khander place... do not book this resort.. other very good resort are thier in bandhagarh..

We booked with the Roaring Salvan county for 2 nights.Considering it is only one of the very few resorts located in the Magadhi zone we werent sure of what to expect. But the experience was nothing short of a memorable one for all of us. Right from helping us book our safaris to advising us on the phone on what best route to take to reach the property by road from Delhi,Mr.Varun was available all the time,
We reached the county and were given a warm welcome by Mr. Varun and his staff.
During our entire stay we were regaled by the stories as told by him and his staff. While we had thought that the tiger sighting would be the highlight of our trip but the jungle walk arranged by him and the knowledge of the jungle he shared with us happened to overshadow everything else.
The cottages we were alloted (Cottage 6 and 7) were cosy,well mantained and overlooked the buffer zone of the reserve.We could hear the animal alarm calls in the night and some other lucky guests who had stayed in the cottages before could also hear the roar of the mighty Bheem.
The bonfire in the sitout area at night,the open shower in the bathroom and the fact that the entire property gives the feel of living in the middle of the forest were for me the standout features of our stay at Roaring Salvan
Not to forget the extremely friendly staff,the delicious food and the helping nature of Mr. Varun is reason enough for us to visit again next year.
Weve returned to Delhi having made new friends at Roaring Salvan and much enlightened about the jungle and its ways.

It is a very beautiful place away from the hustle & bustle of busy city life. I have gone there just to stay & spent some quality time with my wife.It is little bit far away from the main tala zone of the park but closer to khatauli zone.Stayed in cottage no.8 with full privacy where u can heard only the chirping sound of birds. Sitting in open verandah at the back side of cottage facing the buffer zone of the park is icing on the cake. Food was awesome like homemade without too much spices. Thanks to Mr.Varun for our comfortable & memorable stay at the resort.Will visit again soon.
