Outstanding resort very well managed and exceptional staff. Cannot fault this resort. The grounds are expertly maintained and the rooms are luxurious and spotless. Convenient to the main streets of Seminyak. Plenty or restaurants to suit all tastes. Breakfast here is excellent with good variety The coffee is the best I have had in Bali. Than you for the vegemite.

This hotel was lovely. An older style Bali hotel, right on the beach, beautiful gardens and great clean rooms. Right in the heart of Bali, on the same road as Frankensteins. We ate there a lot and the food was great. Two pools so we stayed at the adult pool. The staff are all lovely and every few days we were left lovely gifts in our room.

I stayed here in January with my daughter for 8 nights & we loved the resort - previous visits to Bali we have stayed in a Villa but would definitely stay here again. Location is great being on the beachfront, close to shops, restaurants but still in a quiet area.
We loved the resort grounds & gardens which are beautifully kept, the resort has a traditional Balinese feel about it which is lovely, rooms are large & very clean & tidy. We were very impressed with the level of service & friendliness of all of the staff - everything is done with kindness & a smile. Breakfast was great with many options to choose from, we also ate lunch & snacks around the pool & had dinner at Husk restaurant, the food was fresh & yummy! Staff were amazing & we would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is fantastic, the staff, the location, the beach, really couldn't fault it. But there is a but - felt slightly confused as to what they were trying to do. The rooms are beautiful and spacious ( we did have a bit of an issue with our room, but they moved us without question - top marks for that). The staff are superb, I wish I could remember some names, but I can't. Big shout out to the guy on the egg station he is a legend. Dony I think was the hospitality manager and he was great listened to all our comments and again couldn't be faulted. I think our biggest issue was the lack of anywhere to meet when it rained (and boy did it rain). The beach bar was completely out of bounds when the rain was thundering down, and the restaurant, as beautiful as it is really isn't the place just to have a drink. Don't get me wrong - we LOVED the hotel, the rooms are fantastic, breakfast was amazing, staff are something else, how do they remember everyones name? We loved it - just that thing of nowhere to meet in the rain. I felt that it doesn't know what its trying to be - I loved the Indonesian music at breakfast, but not so much the piano player (brilliant as he was) playing Western music. The hotel is in Indonesia - be Indonesian. We had a BBQ one night - first attempt (I think) and Western food was served - terrible shame - the Indonesian breakfasts are outstanding. We had a fantastically relaxing holiday served by the most welcoming people, Dony in the restaurant, our daily cleaning lady, the security people - all just amazing. It is such a beautiful, comfortable, welcoming hotel, but I feel its lost its way just a little bit.

If you're looking for a modern hotel with high end latest finishes, then this is not the place for you. However, if you're after beautiful gardens, exceptionally friendly staff and a relaxing oasis from the hustle of Seminyak streets, then you've come to the right place.
From the moment we arrived, we couldn't have been made more welcome by Vincent (GM) and his team. We were fortunate to receive an updated room and a complimentary dinner during our stay (which I have to say the meal was excellent).
I remember this hotel on my first visit to Bali 20 years ago (when it was the Imperial). Those 20 years have done amazing things for the gardens, providing a lush oasis - the mossed walls of the villas are particularly spectacular - though I'd suggest that the rooms have aged a little. They are exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, but could do with a refurb at some stage.
Finally we had to laugh at checkin when my partner was referred to as Mrs. With marriage equality now common in the majority of western nations, not every couple celebrating their anniversary will be man and wife. Point to note.
