Booked a double and a twin bedded disabled access room on the 1st floor which was services by a lift. Due to the age of the property, the floors had a slight lean but both were clean and well presented. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and informative. Booked this for the local theatre which was a short walk away. There is a large bar with areas for a quiet drink and free parking for residents. This is an ideal place to shop and explore Stafford.

Fantastic full English, great staff, very friendly, beautiful hotel
If visiting Stafford you must go in for a drink, and or food. Beautiful interior, great garden area with heaters.
Itâs a place you can go on your own too, lots of lone shoppers will go and call in for a drink or snack, itâs a very friendly atmosphere
We went early for breakfast and it was superb, staff are smart, friendly and professional

Stayed here following a night out in the town.
The location is excellent and the much needed breakfast in the morning certainly did the job.
A little pricey compared to chain hotels out of town but you save on the taxi fare.

We arrived late after a wedding and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was clean and well supplied with tea/coffee/bottled water. The breakfast menu was the best I've seen in a long while and all the staff were friendly and polite. Thank you

What a lovely hotel!!! Such a lovely old hotel with huge room and bathroom + gorgeous view of the high street. The bed was exceptionally comfortable so you'll get a great night's sleep here. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff were lovely and accommodating in the bar and for breakfast. Definitely will stay here again. It will be our 1st choice in Stafford.
