Great hotel, friendly staff and excellent service all at great value. Expedia deal we had included full breakfast which was wonderful. Close to large shopping centre where there were plenty of great eating places. Not overly convenient to beach but this did not worry us. Only issue was the pool with an eye stinging PH level and something biting all the guests.

We had a great stay at Vira Bali. The staff were really lovely, and the included breakfasts every morning were great. There were Asian options as well as an egg station and fresh pastries. The pool enjoys several hours of sunshine each day, and was never busy. You could always find a lounge, or bean bag around the pool area to relax on. The location is great, close enough to walk to Kuta if you want to go there but far enough away so not as busy. Being opposite Lippo Mall was really handy, particularly in wet weather. We took advantage of the cinemas a couple of times, and found some excellent restaurants. Yes, there is a band playing over the road each night, but they are finished by 10:30, so we didn't find it a problem at all, and actually went over and enjoyed listening to them a couple of evenings. We used the services of one of the hotel drivers a couple of days, and it was a great way to enjoy some of the sights around the island - very comfortable, air conditioned, safe and very reasonably priced. We were also shown the two suites that are currently being renovated, and they were lovely! We will definitely return to Vira Bali. Thanks to all the staff for a great stay!

The Vira Bali was exactly as stated. Essentially you get what you pay for as always but the property is beautiful and they have a restaurant on the premises. The breakfast buffet was top quality and offered a large variety of items from all around the world and different cultures were represented. Itâs location relative to the airport was perfect for our late night flight arrival and they also offer a complementary airport shuttle which was wonderful and went seamlessly. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Kuta area and as a âpass throughâ property (flying in and need a place to relax and catch your bearings for a few days).

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of the year. Interconnecting double rooms - very spacious and comfortable with nice view of the pool. The buffet breakfast was lovely - not a huge choice, but we still left full on each morning. Afternoon tea was included in our stay and we were given a voucher to present to the restaurant each afternoon. We were offered a small cup of coffee or tea, and the tiniest square of apple cake - still a nice offer - but we thought it would be like a full on afternoon buffet of cakes!
The only problem we had was the pool. The day we arrived the pool was a beautiful clear blue, after about 4 hours it started to turn green, and it got more green as the day went on. We swam for a couple of hours, but started to feel itchy so left the water. The next day the pool was actually closed off and when we inquired why, was told the chemicals were being adjusted. We had heard a few recent stories of the chlorine upsetting the guests' skin, and i guess the hotel were just trying to sort it before anyone else complained.
Overall.. a lovely hotel, well situated only a few mins drive from the airport and across the road from Lippo mall, which has the gold class cinema and a great supermarket on the basement level. I would recommend this hotel to my friends, as long as the pool is blue!

3 stars because this hotel was advertised as a 4 Star hotel; which I believe is incorrect. It is more like a 3 Star hotel.
Staff were friendly.
Pool area is very average, tiles falling off and also sharp. Not very inviting at all.
Breakfast was adequate, but pretty average.
Location is good, across from Lippi Mall and short distance to Watsrbom Park and Discovery Mall.
Rooms were small, we also had a roll away bed, so space was very tight. Beds ok, roll away not very comfortable. Tea & coffee in room. Small balcony over looking the pool, which was nice to sit out on. Hair dryer barely worked - I gave up trying to use it. Small hanging space and safe in room. Bathroom shower good size. Room cleaned well each day.
Small boutique hotel atmosphere was nice, however a band was playing each night at the lippy mall until around 10.30/11pm, which was really noisy.
Airport transfers were included in our stay, which was a bonus. We basically paid for what we got. I would upgrade to a nicer hotel next time.
