The watergarden is a great place to visit. The bungalows are all very private and the verandahs is why you should go.
Rooms are good and management are interested in your well being and take good care of you.
Candidasa has changed from our last visit some years ago and at least has a good number of ATM's. When we were there Agung was starting to rumble and the people of Candidasa hurting from the lack of tourists. A pity as the surroundings are great. The town itself is nothing worth mentioning, strewn along a busy road, but the Watergarden is very quiet and there are plenty of things to do around the town. Go on an excursion, walk the rice paddies and come back to a really relaxed hotel.
The restaurant is very underrated on Tripadvisor. Food is good and affordable, staff great and as they have built a glass wall facing the road, the traffic noise is kept down and mostly you hear water running.

We loved our 4 day stay at the Watergarden. The room was clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. There was not a mosquito to be seen. The staff was welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has fresh and tasty food and good service. We arranged several day trips to see local sights with Kotom, an excellent driver. Candidasa is off the beaten path for tourists and we appreciated the quiet.

I spent 2 night at this resort with my sister for a holiday escape. We really love the hotel surrounding. The warm and friendly staff. The room was private, spacious and clean. The bathroom also. You can find fish pond in front of your room. The resort is so quiet and peaceful,surrounded by a beautiful garden. You can hear the sound from the nature. A great place to stay for a getaway. Definitely will come back to these resort if we come to Candidasa again!

The accommodation comprises your own cabin and deck surrounded by green foliage and ponds filled with Koi Carp and other wildlife.
The cabins are basic but clean and comfortable and have mosquito nets although there is not much of an insect problem.
The pool is lovely and really hot in October/ November
The breakfast is well made and the staff are friendly and helpful.
This hotel and restaurant are good value. I'd recommend it.

We stayed in this hotel for five nights. The first impression is really nice, the staff takes you through the beautiful garden to your room. They have really done a nice exotic balinese garden with different kind of plants. At least for us coming from Finland, we were admiring the garden every day. But I guess with the garden comes also A LOT of noices, you hear them especially at night. I mean birds, frogs etc. This didn't bother us since we are both heavy sleepers.
The rooms are ok, nothing spectacular, but you have everything you need. The pool area is quite nice, you get sun all day. The breakfast was ok too, but as we stayed here at the end of out trip, we had had enough of hotel breakfasts.
In the hotel area there is a spa, and I had a lovely pedicure + nail art there. The prices are not bad!!
A huge minus for us were the small lizards (or what ever they're called) in our room. Too much nature for us XD
