Worst customer service. We visited during December 2017 as part of waynad tour.
We went to hotel around 2.30pm and ordered the food. After sometime the staff told that the ordered food is not available. We changed the order.Even after 45 mins, nobody has bothered to serve the food. This has happened not only for us even for other families too.
There was no restaurant manager to complain. They don't care for customers at all.
Worst service.

Woodlands was a well know hotel in kalpetta. Recently the management decided to changed it to a veg restaurant due to the tourist inflow mainly North Indian. Since then the quality has gone very low the prices has gone up. Will share the pictures and bill for a recent dinner soon.

I made booking via online for 2 rooms and 10min before arrival hotel tell me I have just 1 room booked. You can imagine i was travelling with my In Laws..and a kid of 3yrs old.
Finally they managed to give me a rooms, even after spl request during booking for a ground floor or a 1st floor room, they gave my very snr citizen in laws at 3rd floor rooms. - No Lifts
Food not that great,prices are higher as compared to places around.
Positive - The hotel is in the city center, Budget Hotel, good parking space behind

We spent just one night here. The rooms are basic and clean at first glace. The bathroom didn't feel comfortable. And, we found a cockroach in the bathroom. That put us off immediately. We checked in late ( as part of a wedding group) and asked for a bottle of water. Surprisingly there was no water already in the room. After some time when we enquired they said that they didn't have staff to bring it to the room, so we collected it from the reception.
Having stayed in a number of places we found it weird that the staff weren't even sporting a smile.Overall, we felt that the staff were indifferent. Not happy with service and condition of rooms+bathrooms.

We had a good experience. The room was good but the bathroom sanitary ware was quite old. There's no complementary breakfast. The restaurant is decent. The hotel is right on the main road so it was easy to go around.
