Dirty, not like the pics & no lift

Prostitutes on the street which I could have dealt with ok if it wasn't for the rest of the experience.
We looked a large bed room as my 1 year old son sleeps in bed with me when we travel. The only available were on the 4th floor. Had to haul an exra large bag plus 2 smaller bags and a child up 4 flights of stairs (which were not clean).
The room was extremely basic. No lamps on bedside tables, two extremely limp lumpy pillows, no tea/coffee facilities in room (no kettle to boil bottles for son unless I went down 4 flights of stairs). No bath as per advert pics (require for small child). Disgusting white stains on the chair, bathroom floor dirty, shower curtain seen better days.
Feels like a room that prostitutes rent out by the hour.
Donât recommend it!

Picked this hotel as I made a last minute trip and most hotels were sold out. Wouldnât recommend it: reception is closed from 11 pm to morning -I arrived on a late evening flight and this proved very complicated. Breakfast is actually provided in another hotel nearby! No hotel lobby - lights are always off and it looks quite dark at all times. And the location of this hotel is quite dodgy - looks like this is a street known for soliciting sex workers. There are sex workers plying their trade at all hours on the street - making it really awkward for me as a solo female Guest. In fact, there were phone numbers left in the room where I stayed - first time I encounter this is what is a âhotelâ! Donât recommend at all.
Prostitutes and homophobic staff

This place is not LGBT friendly! We entered the hotel after walking past lots of prostitutes and felt very unsafe. We checked in and were advised that we had booked a double room for 2 men and were asked if we wanted to change it to a twin room. We felt very uncomfortable and the second man behind the desk found this amusing and walked over to a large group of men who began making comments in their own language at us. We then had to walk through this group and were made to feel very intimidated by them while they continued to laugh at us. We got to the room and immediately started looking for other hotels as we felt unsafe in this hotel and area. The room had no safe or hairdryer after seeing it online. We contacted Expedia about our issues and they opened a case for a full refund. We left the next morning and spoke to the manager and told him about our issues and he was sympathetic but insisted that there was only one member of staff on last night which highlights that the place is very unprofessional and staff members friends are allowed free roam of the place. We told him that we would be seeking a refund for our stay and he was kind enough to comply with us.
Double Room

For my 2nd stay at the Theater Hotel, I'd been assigned a room in the main building. With my big, heavy luggage, climbing the stairs would have been a nightmare, so I was upgraded to a suite on the ground floor of a building down the street. Great!
For my 3rd stay, the hotel remembered my proclivity towards big luggage, so I was given a room on the ground floor of a building across the street. Nice touch! My double room was obviously smaller than the suites, but it was perfectly adequate. The blue & white color scheme looked great.

When I booked this hotel for my birthday getaway with my boyfriend I thought it looked amazing for the kind of prices the rooms were offered. I arrived the 19th April a day before my birthday and I saw women standing on the street, first I thought they were just standing after checking into our hotel we decided to go for a walk to see the area and I was shocked to discover the women standing on the street were in fact prostitutes and we're trying to offer their services to my boyfriend. The next day I was waiting for my cousin who resides in Brussels to
Come pick us up so I was waiting outside and all of a sudden a man approached me and asked me what I was offering I was deeply offended and angry, I walked up to the hotel reception to complain and find out why they aren't clear about the location when people are booking the receptionist at the time replied well you get what you pay for I thought that was rude and insensitive after explaining my ordeal outside. Then I asked to use the hotel phone to call my cousin and ask to meet somewhere because I was ashamed of this location the guy at reception first refused but after pleading and exposing my phone wasn't working he let me use it. There was nothing wrong with the room itself it was big, spacious and very clean but the location is totally a no no; no matter what time of day there's prostitutes everywhere.
