Timber trail in parwanoo is one of the best properties I have stayed in yet. The mist covered hills make an excellent get away for couples and family. There are activity for children too. There are two approaches; one could choose to drive all the way up or take the rope way. The rope way offers a majestic view of the beautiful hills below. There is a patrol pump in the resort, which comes handy if you are running out of fuel on your way to the top. The rooms are excellent and we'll appointed. The staff and service is good. People are extremely courteous. Best time to visit would be from December to March.

Located up on the Hill slope the hotel is reached via a Rope way, the experience is enthralling in its own self. The rooms are good and spacious. The balcony view was wonderful with the valley looking down. The small steppes below are a sitting for the myriad of birds who come in the morning, a delight for the birdwatchers. The staff is courteous and helpful. The toiletries are good. All in all a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

This resort located at hill 30 km from Chandigarh on the way to Shimla. There is a Cable car which take you in the resort. the Cable car charges is quite high. But the view from resort is very nice, you can have 360 Deg. view from resort. During rainy season, it is nice picnic spot.

A beautiful property with a car cable can definitely bring you visitors but can't retain them without a good staff service and food.
Our visit was totally unplanned. While coming back from Kasauli we saw this place and really liked it and thought of spending few hours.
It has a car cable, it takes you to a beautiful property on a hill top. No doubt, it's a beautiful location. I am giving 2 stars just for the location.
We ordered a bottle of beer, costs around Rs 400 and a non veg platter, costs Rs 1100. The food was cold. I do understand that food and beverages can be costly in such places, but serving cold food has nothing to do with it. Moreover when we complaint, the waiter was least interested in listening. Such behaviour from staff disappoints you and we came back disappointed, not to recommend this place to anyone.

Reading the reviews for this hotel I'm not at all surprised by most people complaining. We went to this property by getting attracted towards the cable car. Trip via the cable car is a bit expensive, but it's a long way so I'm guessing you can't complain much. We went up to the hotel and wanted to have a quick lunch, so ordered a beer and non-veg platter. The food is pricey, and was served cold. The staff is naive and not attentive. They didn't care to take our order, had to go to the bar to personally see the menu and order. All the kebabs were cold and didn't taste extraordinary for the price we paid. When complained about this, the staff had no reaction, let alone an apology. I'm sure I'm not wrong saying that the same attitude reflects towards other areas of service at this hotel as well. I'm glad I didn't stay here.
