We booked a double room and they gave us a room with 6 beds which was really cold. We asked the staff if it was a mistake and they told us that for that night we had to sleep there. Then, we insist on our double booked room and at the end they gave us a double room which was pretty warmer.
The facilities were really poor and the room was a little bit dirty. Every day we got new towels but no cleaning of the room during the 4 days that we stayed there.
The only good thing about the hotel is the location, as it is really close to Rijksmuseum.
We chose it because we wanted the cheapest hotel near the centre where we would just sleep, but for the price that we paid they could offer better facilities and more cleaning.

Myself and my boyfriend went to Amsterdam for a trip away. Upon arrival we were told that the price we agreed to on Booking.com was wrong as there was a city tax that was charged on top what what we agreed to pay. The elevator in the hotel is an absolute joke, myself and my boyfriend had to go up to the room separately as it was tiny and barely fit one person. We stayed in room 319. It was small and cramped and absolutely nothing like what the photos show. Research places nearby for breakfast in the morning because the breakfast provided is bread, slices of ham and cheese and a bowl of cereal. We went to the restaurant on the corner of the street every morning for breakfast and they were great! The only good thing about this hotel is itâs location - itâs right on museum square and itâs only a 20 minute walk into the city centre. Definitely would not recommend!!!

I stayed in the group rooms on a trip to Amsterdam and we all felt very congested in the room even though it was meant for 8 people and we only 5, it was way too small, the bathroom was not very enjoyable to say the least and staff were not very helpful when i asked them a question in English! The location is fantastic and that is a + but would not stay here again. Wifi alright. They also forget to mention the extra 50 euros for the tourists or something on their website !! very small elevator, only one person

First night in the hotel saw bed bugs on the floor.
One friend got bitten over 30 times during our 4 day stay and since returning I appears to have brought them back I have over 50 bites on me avoid at all costs.
Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

Dirty, smelly, very shabby place. Unfriendly staff who don't understand much English or Dutch. Plug point to charge the laptop is at the opposite end of the room from the miniscule table. Broken bathroom fittings. Definitely a place to avoid.
