Best hotel yet on this trip. Good situation for old town and Amber fort as well as lake just across the road for evening stroll. Great room with lakeside view. Wide choice of food with particularly good Indian red wine - which surprised me although probably should have known better. What makes Trident best is their staff - exceptionally friendly and helpful, which seems to be the case in all their hotels.

One of my favorite hotels. Oberoi hotels are the ones we can feel at home. Loved the stay though the rooms need refurbishment but there were no compromises with the quality of the stay. The food could be improved as I saw that deteriorated over the years. The sandwich bread was too big and the fillings were literally nothing. Breakfast was not as fresh but the staff's friendliness makes up for minor glitches. Please introduce foot massages and that was not there in the spa menu. Overall a lovely lovely stay. Thank you.

Very nice setting with a delightful pool for a late afternoon relax breakfast is acceptable
But food in the restaurant ok but not up the the same standard as the trident in Agra
As usual staff so helpful and polite
Bedrooms fine and location of hotel very good for the sites

Yet again, another lovely Trident hotel. We were so impressed with the security and the friendliness of this hotel.
The location is right opposite Lake Monsagar and a view of the summer palace. you can walk out of the hotel and across to the edge of the lake and feel quite safe. It is also close to the Amber Fort, which was a lovely visit for us.
The restaurant offered either buffet or a la carte but we ate one evening by the pool and experienced a tasting menu from the BBQ and each dish was explained carefully by our waiter. You could choose either vegetarian or non vegetarian but we were able to pick and choose from each others which was fun.
The rooms are clean and comfortable and not noisy at all.
A nice hotel to come back to after a full day's sightseeing.

They buffet being mostly western food, we ordered great Indian food from the a la carte menu. Service was impeccable with the chef appearing to ask how the meal had been. The restaurant looks out on the sunny beautiful pool and is all about marble splendor. The lamb melted in your mouth. The panneer was perfectly spiced and the many other dishes were exceptional.
