I found everything about this hotel a bit weird. We arrived about 11pm and there is no proper hotel entrance, just a little side door which was weird to begin with. The front desk help was questionable, the room relatively basic (but ok) but the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and Iï¸ imagine quite old. On the up-side, the adjoining restaurant is absolutely fantastic, but the hotel was just a bit weird.

Perfectly adequate hotel, easy to get to and good parking. All staff friendly, helpful and English speaking.
Family room was very large and comfortable.
Breakfast was at adjacent Laplace, option of 10euro all you can eat or we went for the six items plus coffee and orange juice for less than 5.
Nearest hotel we could find to de molen brewery.

Clean and tidy rooms. Also rooms are a good size. Good location for the train station and other local amenities.
Issue with other guests slamming doors into the night but management were prompt at resolving this.

Nice place, worth the money.No problem and the location is quiet.The room was okay though a simpler shower might have worked as well. The bath is a bit oversized;I liked the table, chairs, easy wi-fi and free parking.

We were on a "road trip holiday" in The Netherlands, and since Bodegraven is situated pretty much in the center of the area we wanted to drive around in (Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven, etc.), that was the main reason why we chose Tulip Inn Bodegraven.
Service at the reception and with the cleaning crew was good. We felt welcome and taken care of.
The room was clean on arrival and was quite spaceous. They kept the room fairly clean during or one-week stay.
The room had no air condition system. So it was very hot during then night. Also because of this we had to keep our French balcony door open all night.
The hotel is right next to a trafficked highway and a popular McDonalds. This generated a lot of noise which was impossible to keep out because we had to keep the balcony door open.
The breakfast system at the next door restaurant (La Place) was horrible. The selection was unacceptable when you pay â¬10 per adult and â¬5 per child. Also, the crew working at La Place gave mixed signals about what we could take and there was no written information anywhere about the breakfast. Also, 90 % of the crew of La Place actually was quite rude to us when we talked to them. I hope the hotel can look into this.
The receptionist at Tulip Inn did compensate our breakfast a bit since we informed about our experience, so that was good service though.
Also a big minus that you only had stairs as an option to get into the hotel (disabled people?).
Free parking and wifi is good!
