A comfortable hotel in the Ruhi district of Muscat, around 20-30 minutes drive from the centre.
Clean rooms, comfortable bed, clean bathrooms. The staff are especially courteous, and made us feel very welcome. We had an early morning departure, before breakfast, however they went out of their way to ensure we had something, even though cooked breakfast didnât start for another hour.
I would definitely recommend, if you want a reasonably priced hotel, and donât mind a short drive to the centre. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants close to the hotel too.

Arrived to find Agoda had cancelled our reservation without informing us (saying they had requested copy of passport and credit card as part of anti-fraud measures, but as I never received such requests, of course I could not reply, but they simply cancelled my booking without attmepting to reach me via phone or sms first). The hotel manager Mr Shanavas was very kind and reassuring and immediately provided us with excellent rooms, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff did everything possible to make us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet is amazing, with not a wide range of western style foods but different, delicious and interesting local foods, which are also very healthy and varying the range offered on a daily basis, including excellent service and good recommendations of which new foods to try. The central location is close to the taxi stop and shared taxi (minibus) stop where one can easly and cheaply take taxis to the local fish market/old Muscat castle and souq as well as other locations.

Thank you to all the staff at Tulip inn for being so accommodating. They gave me their best rate every night and were always happy to help. Thank you to Shanavas for all of your help and to Antoun the hotel manager for organising my transport without even me having to ask. The food was very delicious and the rooms are spacious and clean.
I will definitely be coming back!!!

This centrally-situated and spotlessly-clean hotel is great value for money. It is excellently run with friendly caring staff. There is fast free WiFi everywhere. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with great air conditioning and constant hot water. The breakfast buffet is varied and plentiful with omelettes made to order, fresh fruit and lots of hot dishes. Outside on the terrace there is comfortable seating and a small pool to cool down in. Staff are always around and willing to help. Iâve stayed here using it as a travel base many times and will return.

We use to come in this hotel since 2014, its a very nice place and the food in the restaurant is delicious. The only negative point, they do not serve alcool anymore, in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, we could have whisky and wine, what's going on ?
